“How many years have gone by since I felt like this?” A young man mumbled to himself as he walked out of his shower, wiping the steam off the mirror he stared at his reflection and sighed deeply. “For someone like you to do such a foolish thing… it’s really hard to judge you seeing that I’ve now taken control of your body because of your actions.”

The young man chuckled and ran his hand through his hair, as he let out a deep chuckle but the next second his face turned stoic. “For the things you have left behind, I will now take them as my own, so go on your way kid?” As he spoke those last words he glanced at the second shadow that appeared in the mirror that shook for a second before it vanished.

After the shadow vanished the young man looked back at the mirror and smiled gently. “From this day I shall be known as Zhu Hao-Ran.”

Walking out of the shower Zhu Hao-Ran went across the room and went into the walking closet. He flicked through the clothes on the rack and then let out a sigh. “Even the clothing people wore has changed, I just hope it’s comfortable.” As he spoke he grabbed a pair of joggers and a t-shirt and pulled them on over his underwear.

He glanced in the mirror and frowned “they look so strange, but I bet I’m the only one that thinks like that, but at the same time why is this body so weak. I feel like if I were to get in a fight I would be smack into a paste. But at the same time from the memories left behind, people of this time still respect you even though the only thing you did to gain such respect was being born to the right parents.

Dear Readers. Scrapers have recently been devasting our views. At this rate, the site (creativenovels .com) might...let's just hope it doesn't come to that. If you are reading on a scraper site. Please don't.

Nothing has changed, no matter the time the rich are king.” Zhu Hao-Ran let out another sigh and then left the closet and walked out of the bedroom, following the memories of the original host he walked down the hall and entered the living room. “You call this a… penthouse, such a big place for just one person and it isn’t even the only one.

I bet the nobles and royalty of my time could never dream of being in a place like this, while those like me, would be too busy trying to get our next meal to even be able to think about it.” Zhu Hao-Ran rolled his eyes and headed to the kitchen, he went into the fridge and frowned again. “Such a big container and no actual food, foolish, but then again you can just call someone to bring you food if you wanted to eat, so why would you care?”

He looked around the fridge and took out a box of juice, removing the cap and drinking it as he went back to the bathroom to retrieve his phone. It took him some time to open it and then used the memories left behind to order some food. As he waited he finished the juice and then went to the fridge to get another. “I bet something like this in my time would be a delicacy even for the rich… sweet.”

He guzzled down the other one and left the containers on the counter as he took out his phone and took a seat on the living room sofa. “To die for someone’s love, you were weaker than even the women of my time. If it were our princess she would just take that man from his home and force him to bed with her if he didn’t want his family to be executed. But instead, here you are killing yourself over a man that never even gave you the slightest attention no matter what you did for him. Both of you are pathetic.

But then again with the laws of this time, doing such things in the opening is frowned upon, but you’re the only child of two of the world’s richest people, what can’t you solve with money? You were soft on him because you wanted his love, but why should you worry about earning the love of someone below you? You were too foolish and blind to see he cared not for you and was only using you to his advantage as he claimed the things you did for him were demeaning, but don’t worry I’ll clean him up for you.”

As he spoke the phone dinged and he looked down at the message that popped up on the screen “my meal has arrived…”

He put on a pair of sneakers and went down to the first floor, where he paid for the food and then came up back. “Such convenience, even the royalty of my time would be jealous.” He hummed to himself and sat at the living room table and unboxed the food. Wasting no time he started eating, only taking breaks to breathe until it was all done.

Licking his lips he let out a groan “that was the best meal I have ever had, I can’t wait to see what other delicacy’s man has come up with overall that time.” Humming to himself he got up and went to the kitchen to guzzle down two more boxes of juice. “The feeling of being filled, it was always such a far off dream to me, but now, here I am being able to stuff myself without even having to do anything to get my meal, such wonders”

With a smile on his face, he went back to the bathroom in the room and washed his hands and face before dropping on the bed and taking out his phone. He scrolled through the contacts and paused for a second before sending out a mass message to a certain group of people. “Even if you were aright with living as such prey, I won’t be content. I’ll make one thing and clean them all up tomorrow, then I could focus on just living the way I want to, but for now, let’s sleep.”
