“No problem, Maru. I will take you there myself.” Master Saladino responded with a kind face as he followed the conducts of Master Corin. It has been a time since he brazenly fawned on someone.
But if it will get him a legendary boost such as that mystical spirits, then there was nothing too low for him to plummet.
“Why don’t you tell me about yourself, Maru? I’m certain that with your handsome attractive charismatic self, the lineage that you came from were that of gods and immortals.
Your great ancestors should be very proud of ha…” thus, the litany of words began. The lone witness of it all was Master Corin who could not believe what his ears perceived.
“You’re very obvious, Master Saladino. You need more practice at the art of kissing ass. No subtlety and finesse at all.” Corin shook his head and smiled at his good fortune.
He stayed frozen in that form until he no longer saw the figures of his recent companions. And after a breath had elapsed, his form melded with nature and abruptly vanished from the scene.
“We’re here, Maru.” Master Saladino said after they reached their destination. What loomed before them was the largest construction upon this massive plateau.
The gates were huge and the art that held the entire building differed from the rest.
This was located at the center and also possessed the most elaborate of designs as it stood unequaled amidst the numerous adversaries that wanted to copy its shine.
“What is this place, Master Saladino?” Maru looked at the vast size of the building and marveled at the skillful carvings that depicted of man, monster, and other species along its entire body.
“This sect is situated upon a lost civilization, Maru. When the Sect Master found this area, it was as you see right now. Totally untouched yet devoid of people.
This was one of the reasons why he founded the Infernal Blood Sect here. He could consolidate his strength here and at the same time also study the relics of the past left behind by our ancestors.”
Saladino answered in a hushed tone. This information was not one for anyone’s ears. If it would leak outside, then who knew what kind of calamity it might bring unto the sect and its disciples.
“A historic home of the past.” Maru muttered.
“How do I get inside my room, Master Saladino?” and added after five breaths of silence settled upon the two. All these things might be mysterious and everything but it did not concern Maru at all.
He only felt a bit of interest on it and no further. What he wanted to do more at this moment was to have a place so that he could start cultivating once again.
“Just pass through the door, Maru. It will lead you beyond and into your cave of dwelling.”
“Okay.” Maru waited for two seconds and nothing happened. The gigantic doors remained shut.
“Do we have to call on someone to open the door for us, Master Saladino?”
