Hello everyone! Today I am joined by Nneeil, a new Author, and we’ll be introducing his first work on CrN. Please introduce yourself to the audience.
A: Hello folks! I’m Nneeil, the newest entry, and a still somewhat inexperienced author. Please, take care of me.
Q: So, tell us about your novel? Why should we feel excited?
A: Well, my novel at a first look may seem the cliché isekai with a slight ‘evil’ twist. No kingdoms, no empires, just a never-ending expanse of forest where monsters and quaint races fight for supremacy. Now throw among them a group of weird people from Earth, give them some badass skills, make them fight for survival and slowly grow in that environment, all the while trying to forge new relationships and hellbent on rule over the place with an iron grip. Despite the ‘multiple main characters transported into another world’ vibes, this novel will be more or less focused only on one main character and his adventures. Hope you’ll like it!
Q: Hmmm. What inspired you to write such a plot?
A: I’m always full of ideas I have yet to scrape on the forefront of my mind and then scribble down onto paper. But I can safely say many mangas/novels inspired me to write this work. Especially the Tower of God, my all time favorite.
Q: That’s mine as well! Makes me wonder, now, when did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
A: 13 months ago, after dropping a novel for the umpteenth time, I found myself bemoaning the lack of anything to read. So, steeling my determination up, I brushed my hair, plugged in earphones, drank a few cups of coke and let my imagination wander…
Q: Wow, I’m sure many authors felt the same. That’s great you found a new passion though. Well, we the audience now know you as a writer, but who are you off the page? What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
A: Reading, duh. I’m an Ancestor level procrastinator, a step away from breaking through the bottleneck and ascending to the divine land of the ‘thickness’. Yes, I love memes… but my favorite hobby is lazing off in my bed whilst coming up with crazy and odd ideas for my novel. If you ever decide to give it a try, welcome to my own hell! 🙂
Q: Ok, ok. Now, let’s get to the juicy stuff. Don’t spoil the story, but … got any spoilers? Like movie trailer type.
A: The main character will be one helluva badass and powerful motherfu****. Not overpowered, mind you, but he’ll slowly grow up into what I always thought a cool and villan-ish protagonist should be. Also, this novel will contain a string of warnings that may or may not rope you in; such as gore, strong language, NSFW content (later on), etc…
