To save his family from his ongoing medical expense Micah chose to join a medical trial that would pay everything off in exchange for him to join. The trial was for terminal patients, and he didn't really care what was going to happen to him as long as his family was saved the cost of paying for him.

The trail wasn't revealed to him, but suddenly he found himself sent to a open sandlot world where he had nothing and had to survive. His body was dead in the real world and the longer he could stay alive in this world the more money would go to his family to make there lives better. He wasn't a expert at virtual worlds or games, but what he did know was hot to survive.
