It was on the eve of Ellington Frost's death when a fox god appeared with the purpose of granting him a second chance at life. However, it would not be free, quid pro quo, and all of that. In exchange, he would need to fix the rift Aite, the fox's daughter, caused in a world that inspired his favorite novel, Ice Fire.

Ellington accepted the condition because who wouldn't in his situation? He didn't want to die. Plus, he would be able to enjoy a healthy life as the ice skater he always envisioned himself being. 

But who would have guessed the fox would transmigrate him into the body of an ill-fated cannon fodder? What!? He also has to maneuver through tons of death flags that were set up by a pink-haired miscreant. At least he had a system to help him.
