Chapter 2567 Lost Contact

Lin Feng, who had entered the bakery, quickly got out, the night was starting to thin out, and they could vaguely see the outlines of Lin Feng’s face.

Supa who was inside didn’t come out; the gates of the bakery were closed up once again as if nobody had come to disturb this place.

“The helicopter is in Supa’s home; we’re going over there now.” Lin Feng, who had walked out, lowered his voice and communicated with Xia Jinyuan, “We’ll first go to the wealthy suburbs; I’m neighbors with his house.”

“I’m afraid you wouldn’t be able to leave during the day, as for the details, you can discuss it after reaching my house. If you guys really couldn’t leave, then you can rest for a day in my house and could let your comrade’s father rest up for the day.”

Lin Feng glanced at somewhere he couldn’t see; plenty of things happened tonight, and to actually witness a reunion of father and daughter.

The black of night was thinning; even the buildings ahead were gradually visible; without stopping, they immediately made their way towards the suburbs.

Their travel wasn’t peaceful at all; ahead of them, they once again encountered a group of illegally armed militants sprinting across with guns in their arms; they yelled loudly as they ran across the streets, sometimes they would fire stray shots, which shook the homeless citizens awake from their sleep, instilling terror in the hearts of the people.

Pigeon and co. Who had yet to reconvene with Xia Jinyuan and the others headed towards the exit route they had planned beforehand and arrived in a ruined building as they hid there, including T6, the party of eight laid against the ashen walls as they rested.

Harrier was still messing around with his communications systems, he had sent countless communication signals, but he had not received a reply; after he sent out his last group of signals, he had given up.

“Their communications systems must be broken; all we can do is wait for them to send us their coordinates.” After a night of battle, Harrier, who had pulled through the night with crimson eyes, started packing his equipment; he wiped at his face as he laid against the wall and rest up for a while, “Before they send their coordinates, either we stay here, or… return to the hotel they were staying previously, two choices, which should we pick?”

“Back to the hotel!” T6 didn’t even hesitate, he said grimly: “If all of the equipment is broken, then at least the hotel can turn into a place we’ll regroup. As for this place… Harrier, mind taking a look at how far away we’re from the hotel?”

Returning to the hotel was indeed a good idea, Harrier whose spirit was rejuvenated, immediately pulled out the digital map, “Not far, twelve klicks! We’ll get there in an hour and a half!”

Twelve kilometers, if they were just running there, it wouldn’t take much time, but they needed to stay hidden, so that’ll take a bit more time.

With only twelve kilometers, then the only decision is to return to the hotel.

“Alright, let’s go to the hotel!” Pigeon announced they had the responsibility of escorting the rescued scientists back home, so they absolutely cannot lose contact with Q King’s side.

After agreeing on returning to the hotel, then they can’t dawdle, before leaving, T6 said: “The hotel we’re staying in might be a bit problematic, the receptionists are all bastards who know how to toss grenades, and the security outside were all guys that knew how to handle guns.”

“The National Security Bureau agent who connected with us told us, this hotel is famous in Mogadishu for its security, and the foreigners who lived here had never had anything happen to them, that’s why, when we go in later, we’ll have to be careful.”

“We’ll sneak our way into the rooms and not go through the front gates.”

As to what kind of problem the hotel has, they won’t go and investigate; all they needed to do was avoid the staff inside and reduce their presence as much as possible.

After resting for five minutes, the special forces soldiers who had been in battle the entire night continued on their journey, this time, their target was clear, and the speed they were moving at was quicker.

At this time, the Puntland Group pirates have found the two cars that were abandoned, and the four Chinese people they had gone through so much trouble to abduct weren’t in the vehicles; the cars were empty, and they hadn’t left a trace behind.
