According to the records on the mural, the civilization that had constructed Mahades had suffered the invasion of a monster army, and the God Race had been unable to resist. At the final moment, the higher-ups of the God Race had joined hands and sealed the leader of that monster army in the center of Mahades. Afterward, they activated a mechanism to make this entire city fall to Ximengsi Continent.

After a moment of hesitation, Clyde used his contract with Valkyrie Cynthia to forcibly summon her to his side. The activities of the insectmen monsters were limited to the periphery of Mahades; they didn’t enter the city, so no one noticed Clyde’s summoning.
Along with a burst of golden radiance, Valkyrie Cynthia stood in front of Clyde with a bright red complexion. Instead of her usual heroic valkyrie armor, she wore just a bathrobe.
