She originally expects Zhuang Nai Nai to look at her in panic, begging her not to fire her. Yet who would have thought that Zhuang Nai Nai will actually….. smile confidently at her.
Her smile is so bright that it is blinding.
That smile is very annoying to Zuo Yiyi. She haughtily looks away, her chin tipped up, “That is indeed Zhuang Nai Nai’s fault.”
All eyes in the room are on her.
Zhang Chao Wen smiles arrogantly, while Mi Nuo looks at her expectantly.
Su Jin Hui frowns before stepping forward. Just as he is about to speak, he feels someone tugging at his sleeves. When he looks down, he sees Zhuang Nai Nai grabbing him by the sleeve.
Zuo Yiyi continues speaking with that arrogant tone of hers, “Are you lot so idle? Have you come out with the design drafts? What about the Site Décor? All of you are leaders of the company and yet here you are, making a big fuss and fighting over something so small! What is the use of keeping all of you here?”
After Zuo Yiyi says that, Zhang Chao Wen’s face turns dark.
Even Mi Nuo’s face turns rigid.
As for Su Jin Hui, he did not expect things to turn this way.
Everyone inside the room is quiet as Zuo Yiyi sweeps his eyes over everyone inside the room before stopping fiercely on Zhang Chao Wen, “You are the person called Zhang, right? If you don’t want to work anymore, hand in your resignation letter! Kicking a fuss over something so small, you are even pettier than an old auntie!”
Zhang Chao Wen does not dare to say anything to her.
The corner of Mi Nuo’s lips twitches.
Just as she is about to step forward to speak, Zuo Yiyi directs her rage towards her, “As for you Mi Nuo, you are the Director of the Department, yet you can’t even solve something so small. Are you worthy of holding this position? What are you all waiting for? Aren’t you going to go back to work?” Zuo Yiyi’s temper tantrum is really big.
After scolding everyone, she walks out elegantly.
“Pft,” Zhuang Nai Nai tries to hold back her laughter before turning to Zhang Chao Wen with a smug smile, “Since the Associate Director said so, I will be returning to my work, Department Head Zhang.”
Because of Zuo Yiyi, she won’t even get a warning letter now.
She walks out of the room and chases after Zuo Yiyi.
“Zuo Yiyi!” she calls for her.
Zuo Yiyi stops in her steps and turns around to look at her.
There is an arrogant expression on her face and she looks like she is in a bad mood, “What do you want?”
Zhuang Nai Nai laughs, “Thank you.”
Zuo Yiyi sneers at her, “Do not think I did it for you! I did it for….”
“Your Ting gege, I know,” Zhuang Nai Nai finishes it for her. “But, still, thank you.”
“You….” Zuo Yiyi seems to find this situation awkward. There is a faint tint of red in her cheeks.
Seeing her like this reminds Zhuang Nai Nai of what once happened, back in school.
