“From what I know he seems to have almost recovered by now, but I didn’t think he would attack so soon, so I planned to recruit more warriors and prepare them for the incoming battle…” So that was why Azalea looked troubled before…
Then Vladi, looking far away, shouts “Another wave is coming!”
Suddenly we all perk up and prepare ourselves, I stayed above the building because I wanted to do something from here.
As we see the wave coming, I activate Elemental Blending with my Elemental Enhancing.

With that bonus in hand I look forward while pointing my hand at the wave of Lizards that are coming in a fast pace and shout.
“Blizzard!” A blizzard starts emerging on the monster’s side, causing a freezing status and some injuries, making them stumble. My AoE magical attacks might not be as strong to finish off a wave of monster but I can at least make them waver, slowing them down.
With that, everyone starts attacks altogether and I keep doing some magical AoE attacks. When I think it’s enough, I go towards the attacking side.
Vladi with her sharp sense starts shooting with her guns which bullets made beautiful trajectories.
Isa starts taking on the Aggro and keeps tanking while taking a huge mob on her. Arksen, using a spear in hand, starts launching AoE physical attacks, taking many monsters with him easily.
The monsters seem to be a bit over level 200 so we could easily take care of them, but there are too many.
Zenith too, while doing Power Waves along with his Heaven Splitter skill, many monsters were split in half or more, while sucking their lives and expulsing them similar to my absorption skill.
Kagito is fiercely attacking in the center while using his Life Expanding to buff everyone in his wide radius, while Juran stays close to him and attacks, his buffs increases and gets bonuses because of the cooperative skills from both of them.
The Barbarians and many players also start attacking altogether, there were many archers and some magicians taking care of a number of monsters and the warriors in front while taking care that no monster comes into the village.
I also join the fry and I start using my Light Enhancing on both of my swords, increasing their range as it fuses with them.
Discarding my defense, I use Fire enhancing along with it and every wave of my swords kills a monster.
With our concentrated attack, the Lizards’ wave crumbles, my stamina went down a bit, but it soon was recovering extremely fast.
We come back and Aren seems to be ready to go out again while looking at Azalea.
She looks again at the Plains of Gauder and tells us.
“Dorek seems to have a high number of minions alongside him, so he might continue to attack for a while… I need to ask you guys a favor”
The other party that seemed to stay silent suddenly speaks
“Mayor Azalea, our expedition party came before them, so we also want to know about this favor of yours” He says as if he didn’t want to let this chance go and Azalea nods as she starts speaking
“You guys are strong enough to go now. We will hold our ground here for a while, but Dorek will never stop attacking until he is killed once and for all. Even more when his presence accelerates the spawn rate of Lizards monsters, so I need you to go to a place called Scardi and tell the ‘people’ there that I sent you to help them take care of Dorek”

You were tasked to go to a place called Scardi, but with the surroundings infested with Lizard monsters you will need to make a way towards that place.
Your objectives are to speak and gain the trust of the Scardi people to defeat Dorek, the Alligator Prince.

While having the window in front of me I get surprised at the level of the quest.
‘B++… this is going to be quite hard’ I think to myself as I look at the notification seriously.
But even with that in mind, I will not refuse as a single word leaves my mouth.
“Yes”

“Thanks, Ardha. We are indebted to you, Aren and a few others will go too” Says Azalea a bit relieved and I nod, then my gaze directs to the person that stayed quiet for a bit and I ask him.
“Anyone in your party is level 300?”
“Sadly, no one in the expedition party is level 300” He answers with a bit of a downcast look, as he shows a bitter expression. Azalea looks at him and she says
“I will need your help in defending the village so I will ask of you to please help us here” She says, and the man seems to be surprised for a bit at looking at the air and he gladly says “Yes, you can count with us!”
I start sharing the quest with everyone and then I remember, someone in our party isn’t level 300 yet.
“Eliana…” Kagito, faster than me, mutters as he looks at her with a worried look and she says.
“Go, I will handle the matters of the Guild here as many are already on their way. Arthur is coming too so we will be able to defend this place until you guys come back…” Then she gazes at Zenith who looks a bit worried and says gently “Don’t worry, I will tell Peko about this, so you have to finish this before the baby is born”
Zenith recovers himself and nods, then looks at our direction and I say “If we are all together then no matter the enemy, we will not be stopped”
Everyone smiles at my assessment and then I look at Azalea.
“We will depart once the group of reinforcement arrives. I think that should be in about a week”
Azalea nods gratefully at our words. Just as I say that, another wave of monsters appears. Everyone revitalized starts charging against that huge horde.
We all did our best to repel the attacks that seemed to vary in intensity, and some were weaker or stronger than others, but once we cleared the waves, no attacks would come for the rest of the day.
Being prepared at all times for a sudden attack we waited until the reinforcement arrived, it was about a hundred people that came from our Guild.
The man that was leading them seems to be Arthur and Eliana frowns a little and asks
“Weren’t there more people?”
“Yes, but some stayed at different villages that were attacked by the Lizards too, so I only brought this group here” Says Arthur, it looked that he had hardships along the way too, as he had a tired expression.
“Okay, are there more coming?”
“Yes, Fury is also on his way along with Allen. Myriad stayed in another village to defend it and some other commanders has done the same, many members are in Putre Kingdom, so they will take a while to come, so I just told them to stay unless they wanted to spend money massively, or if they can find a way to support themselves the whole trip”
“That’s okay, we can handle things here with these numbers” Says Eliana thoughtful and she looks at us as she says.
“You guys should go now. We will defend this place until you are back”
Azalea taking a step forward and Aren with a few other Barbarian also does the same, she says
“I will leave Dorek to you, please come back safely” With a bit of a worried look she says to everyone. Aren nods, and Kagito says
“We will! Eliana, Arthur, we are leaving”
While nodding Eliana says yes, thus we depart as we race towards the Plains of Gauder at a fast speed following the direction Azalea gave us, I go forward a bit and my colleague that hasn’t talked in a while speaks.
“Dorek, the son of Calurd, he is a formidable foe” Dei says, and I look at him surprised.
“You know him?” At my question, everyone starts to pay attention, Juran was really surprised at first when Dei first talked in front of him but by now, he is already used to it, so he speaks instead of Dei.
“Calurd was an extremely powerful Alligator, many people joined forces to take it down, his skin defense was stronger than steel, and his attacks were devastatingly powerful. He was considered the Alligator King… so Dorek, who should be like his father, would be extremely powerful too, but it is said that he is not as strong as his father at least”
That strong… then Dei suddenly alarms us
“You guys should be careful against it, but before that, there are many Lizards in front of you, they are Earth ones, so their speed is not so high, but their attacks are quite strong. Attack the connection of the limbs”
Then we all get prepared as we see some lizards in front of us, their skin with a stone color seemed to exude pressure as their fierce eyes notice us and they begin to charge with short swords in their hands
We start to attack and following Dei’s advice I attack the connection of their limbs that were softer than the rest of their skin.
I severe their limbs with ease with a single power swing of my sword, my physical abilities increased along with the sharpness of my swords as I utilize my elemental enhancing.
With such consecutive attacks I chop them down as I see the others successfully defeating them and Dei suddenly exclaims.
“Careful! Alligators!” Then I react and use my wind enhancing to fully check the whole place. I sensed an oversized alligator of 4 meters that appeared suddenly with a crappy armor on and a lance in his hand that have sharp claws.

At the sudden appearance of the enemy we immediately attack, but its range is too large, so we evade and close in to deliver counter attacks. Suddenly another alligator comes out, then another one… suddenly we get surrounded by six Alligators whose levels ranged from 315 to 320.
To us, it wasn’t much of a problem, but their physical attacks looked terrifying and their defenses were over the top, so Juran, Kagito, Aren and the others who were a bit over level 300 would have a hard time one on one against these monsters as more continues to appear.
‘Razer Body, Elemental Blending, Elemental Enhancing: Fire, Light and Earth’ I use one of my most offensive formations and split an Alligator in half before it could even react and send fire spears to others as it affects them.
Zenith also starts using more power and attacks without restrain. Kagito using the momentum starts slashing their legs and Juran focuses on backing us with buffs.
Isa increases the Aggro towards her and the Barbarians starts attacking fiercely. Vladi without wasting any time uses full buster on them, heavily injuring them on the spot.
With that we escape a dire situation of being surrounded by many strong enemies as we resume our travel.
These monsters are way stronger than those we faced the last time we came here; a bad feeling starts arising inside me.
Our journey filled with the blood of monsters continued as we make another step forward to that place without noticing.
Slowly walking, when we should’ve hurried instead, the Seal was slowly breaking apart because of our naivety.
Because of that, the only thing that filled my chest was…
…Regret.
