With Karas’s current ability and mindset, he knew one thing… He does not stand any chance of killing the hound, even a single percent of success rate is a miracle.
He started running, since the hound is massive, even beating his size by more than double, he couldn’t help but run to anywhere narrow.
He then saw an air ventilation at the wall.
“F*ck!” He cursed immediately as he saw it.
“Why couldn’t they provide much bigger ventilation!”
Actually, it can fit two people at once, clearly, it’s big enough, but Karas’s massive size counts as four!
As Karas frantically runs away, when the beasts saw Karas, they saw him as their prey, but immediately, as they were about to intercept him and attack, they felt the presence of the Frozen Hound, all of them scattered and started hiding in their own walls.
“COWARDS! KILL THAT DOG!” He threw caution at the wind as he started running upward: “At the 33rd floor, there is a terrace, I can lock myself there.”
He’s merely on the 8th floor but he already had his SP down to 9, he immediately chugged down a bottle of SP recovery potion, luckily, it costs 5,000 Points, 10,000 Gis in conversation.
He had bought a total of 30 pieces, he needs it due to his fast exhaustion from running.
As he continued running, he could feel it, the cold isn’t decreasing, it’s chasing after him and is only a few meters away.
Luckily, with its massive body, it couldn’t go through the narrow staircase easily.
“HAAA! HAAA! HAAA! DAMN!” Karas cursed continuously, he had been running for who knows how long, it’s not jogging, he had been running! With the help of the SP potion, he could run as much as he wants!
“S-s-system, h-how much haaa, weig-weight had I- I lost, haa haaa haaaaaaa.” As he asked, he drank another bottle of SP potion and started running.

“Not really a great exchange…” Karas spoke, he had spent more than 400,000 Gis, and that’s the effect? Whenever he chugs down a bottle of SP potion, he could feel all of the fatigue vanishing, like he had just taken a fresh bat.

After 30 minutes, Karas finally arrived at the 33rd floor, he immediately opened it, held the door’s rectangular lock up before closing it.
As soon as he lets go, the lock immediately clutched in, locking him from the inside.
He immediately heaves a huge breath and looked back, but what he saw struck him speechlessly.

“Great… Out of the fire and into the frying pan…” Karas sighed, there are more than fifteen rats in the terrace, he pulled out his two swords prepared to fight, but as the rats approached him, the Frozen Hound managed to catch up.
Thud!!! Thud!!! A large and crisp noise sounded as the door was slammed by the hound.
The rats became warry about it, but then.
Szik~!! Eihhhhhhhhhhh~! A loud irritating noise sounded as the claws of the frozen hound pierced and slowly started cutting it.
Seeing the Hound’s claws, the rats panicked and started spreading, running for their lives.
Karas couldn’t help but curse as he started running, but this is the terrace, where could he run?!
He then saw the water pipe, there are rusts there, making Karas hesitate, but when the Frozen Hound struck again, creating a much larger hole, he chuckles: “Whatever!”
He stored his weapon and held the pipe: “Here goes nothing.”
He used all four of his limbs to start going down… as slow as he can.
But as he escapes, he looked at the vast sky, although there are so many buildings, the sky can still be clearly seen, after all, the one he’s at is one of the tallest and he’s at the half of it.
He couldn’t help but admire the sight? No, he’s staring at the many flying creatures.

There are so many of them, and Karas can see a blue barrier protecting the whole building, a blue transparent wall.
“This might truly be one of the few buildings with the lowest beasts’ levels.” He sighed, then, at the 33rd-floor terrace, he saw the wolf looking at the edge.
Karas is on the 12th floor already, he sneakily entered one of the windows and breathed a sigh of relief.
As Karas entered the room, he felt something weird, he looked around and saw it…
Human bones…
He could see at least more than twelve of them, the door is completely sealed, cans of foods empty and already has tons of moss even shrooms growing on it. Empty water jugs and containers.
He saw it, a few of them hugging each other until the very end.
Karas sighed: “At least they retained their humanity through death.”
As he spoke to this, he remembered it, the time where humans will eat one another just to grow stronger, to survive, and to not waste the resources known as meat.
The door is made from metal, clearly, the Frozen Hound may even have a hard time breaking through it, also, there is an awkwardly strong smell from his far-right, he looked at the location and saw it, a transparent blue drum.
It’s tilted to one side, a little hole on its side, the size of five needles, it’s continuously dropping the liquid contained inside, it still has half remaining.
Karas smelled it: “Perfume?”
As he moves further in, there is one more room, he opened it and saw another bone sitting on a chair while its other half laying on the table with a pen on its hands.
Karas took the paper and it’s not just one, there are dozens of them.
“Wills… As they die, they at least wrote some for their own…”
Karas started reading it and couldn’t help but shook their head.
“Mom, I hope you’re fine, I might not be able to come home, nor am I sure if I’ll ever escape here, but I wish that you and dad will always live healthily.”
As he continued reading, it’s all about their loved ones, wishing they would live long and such.
Then, there is a different one too: “I didn’t think that the first time I brought my dog will be the last time I’ll like one… to think that my dog suddenly started killing people, he didn’t even die after being shot… if I didn’t bring my dog that day, we would’ve survived this… I feel guilty for being the cause of everyone’s death…”
They also have their name, Karas then looked at the last one… he couldn’t help but be bewildered about the details: “Dying today might be bliss, no one ever understood me… help? Nobody helped me, why… I did everything to make everyone happy, but why couldn’t the world treat me any better…
Dying will only ease my pain, finally, I’ll be free…”
As Karas read the letter, he saw water drop marks from the paper, clearly, these are teardrop that dried through time, he then continued: “Help… someone… please help me, I don’t want to be alone anymore… even till death, I’m nothing but alone…
-Prana.”
Karas couldn’t help but think: “Prana? I think I’ve heard about her before…”
As he continued thinking, he shook his head: “Nevermind.”
He scanned everywhere to see if there is anything worth using, but after a while, he didn’t see anything, he couldn’t help but sigh.
When he’s about to get out of the room through the window again, he took a look at the perfume it’s the size of two meters long and one meter wide.
Karas smiled, he opened his palm: “Insert!”
In the room, there is a tiny window above the wall, about one meter long but only six inches high.
Karas stepped on a table and looked at the outside.
“Cockroaches… a lot of them too.” Karas started to calculate, if there are these many cockroaches, then, it might be possible for them to kill the frozen hound!
If only they fight, then, it might really happen.
He smiled as he made his way out of the window again and started climbing.
At the 20th floor, he managed to see the Frozen Hound from a window, he smiled: “Let’s get this party started!”
