Three of them reached in Tafadzwa’s house by foot. They were glad to not have met the grumpy Ranger again. Waylon took responsibility of Roderick’s and Barry’s safety. He went inside the house, telling them to wait outside till he signals them to get in.
Both of them waited behind the bushes. Barry seemed nervous for Waylon. Roderick was ready to jump inside the house if he would sense Waylon was in danger.
The door unlocked and Waylon waved at them. Taking the signal, they sprinted to the house.
“Where is that cryptographer?” asked Roderick.
“He is not here.” Waylon said, “I think they took him.”
“Where do you think Tafadzwa might have taken him?” Roderick questioned.
“I don’t know.”
“Waylon.” Barry said, “Why don’t ask your friend? He knows whereabouts of everyone.”
“It is risky. I don’t trust him.”
“So what can you trust on?”
“Wait.” Roderick came in between, “You friend knows where he is. So what’s the problem?”
“The problem is – he can help anyone.”
“Doesn’t sound like a problem to me.”
Waylon pondered hard. He wanted to dismiss the thought, but he could not overlook the bright side of it.
“Alright.” Waylon said.
