Headless and Roderick walked from there. They kept on walking for a long time. Roderick wasn’t wearing shoes or slippers, so he was having difficulty in walking in the forest. Blisters appeared on his feet. Headless’ feet were bleeding, but he didn’t stop for a second.
“Can we take some rest?” Roderick begged.
YOU THINK YOU HAVE TIME TO REST?
This convinced him to walk for another half an hour. Headless finally paused when the sun was already over their head. They stopped in front of a place which looked like a crater. Roderick was catching his breath when Headless looked at him and dived inside the crater.
“Wait! Wait!” Roderick ran towards him but couldn’t dare to jump in the crater like him. Roderick was shocked to see thousands of headless corpses lying inside the crater. The smell coming from there was terrible. Those fumes made him throw up.
“Headless!” he called him, but he didn’t appear. Taking his hygiene aside, he climbed down to the crater and started to walk on headless corpses to keep his feet moving.
He slipped on a corpse. He realized he was shoved when the headless body rose. Roderick tried to run, but all those corpses rose at once, trapping him in the middle. He found something to be happy about even there. He was tallest among them just because he had his head on his shoulders.
They all looked at him.
PLEASE GIVE US HEADS. Each and every one of those starte0d to signal at him. Some even pulled him to communicate with him, but none of them did any harm to him other than making him dirtier.
I can’t take orders from anyone other than the first person to order me. He was relieved, but the headless were not.
“I can only take order from your friend who brought me here.” Roderick screamed so that everyone could hear.
WHAT IS HIS NAME? One of them asked.
“I don’t know. He doesn’t have a head. How can he tell me his name?”
GIVE US HEADS, PLEASE. Everyone was on their knees and was pleading to him. It seemed like they were worshipping him. Realizing he was wasting time and their requests did not matter, he agreed.
“Okay. But first let me out of this crater. I need to find the retard who had brought me here.” Roderick was annoyed.
The headless group stood on each other shoulders. Another group also did the same. They stretched their arms and caught their hands. Now Roderick had a human ladder.
He climbed up by the ladder and ran away.
Headless, who had brought him there, watched him from the crowd. They matter more than I do. He thought as Roderick disappeared in the forest.
