I was currently home, after an entire day of work. And then it came in news… that several military bases in Dahan have been bombed by new experimental Magic. On the first day, they reported thousands of dead soldiers that were killed. Second, after that, they told that several prominent High Ranking Generals of Dahan were assassinated by a Magician nicknamed Magus Killer Emiya Kiritsugu, one of the youngest Strategic-Class Magicians, fianceé of Yotsuba Maya. Immediately third news came, that both Taipei and Jeju have fallen into the hands of the Juumonji Clan, Ichijō Clan, and National Defense Forces. With zero costs of life at our side. “Hey, hey Ojii-sama, could you tell me more about how Otou-sama and Okaa-sama fought in Dahan?” Asked a little boy around four years old, with jet black hair and azure blue eyes.
“Little brat, I fought there too! Why you always forget that glorious Grim Reaper decimated hundreds?!” Shouted old man in kimono in depression.
“Because fights of Ojii-sama are boring. Okaa-sama when fights create so much light and her explosions are deadly as they are pretty. Otou-sama uses Time Bombs and exploding the Time itself through decaying psions.” Pouted boy as he looked at his grandfather who almost god a heart attack hearing that.
“Hmph! Next time I will show you how cool my fights are, just wait till GAA or NSU attacks again. Not everyone can have such abilities as Decomposition.” Said the old man, as he mentioned the ability of his grandson, the strongest Yotsuba Magician to ever existed.
“Hey, Ojii-sama what does decide good Clan Head?” Asked the boy as he looked at his grandfather. He was Clan Head of Yotsuba for a very long time, thus was very experienced.
“That is a pretty interesting question, to which there isn’t a clear answer. When I was a Clan Head, the times were different, I was doing everything I could to protect the Family. Now your mother is Clan Head, and together with your father they are focusing on strengthening Family, as currently, we are in the peace.” Said the old man as he observed the stars.
“So, you are saying that the entire thing is dependant on what era is it?”
“Yes… when you will be Clan Head, nobody knows how the time would be, and what political situation will come. Still, remember one thing. The Family is the first place, we Yotsuba protect our own and everything is done for the Clan. Just like I have fought in World War III and Slaughter of Dahan, just like your father who led the fights against Dahan, and just like your mother who decimated one military base after another.” Said the old man as he patted his hair.
“Ojii-sama do you think there would be another war?” Asked the boy as he stared at the stars together with his grandpa.
“Yes. Great Asia Union is mad at our clan, because we have destroyed Dahan, took everything that has value, and more importantly took all of their magic technologies and research. Thanks to that, Yotsuba rose to glory, and Japan started producing far more Magicians than that was predicted. Even though our country is small, in terms of military might, we are ahead of the Indo-Persian Federation and are on the same level as Greater Asian Union, New Soviet Union, or USNA. In terms of Magicians, we are far surpassing quality, and thanks to Dahan, slowly we are increasing the numbers of Magicians. We have more Strategic-Class Magicians compared to Federation and GAU. Though it is hard to say what is happening in undercurrents.” Muttered old man as he looked at the night sky.
“Don’t worry grandpa, I will beat everyone who dares to threaten my family.” Said the boy as he looked at his grandfather affectionately.
“I know you will, I know, Tatsuya.” Said the old man as he patted the head of his grandson lovingly.

December, the Year 2062
Two months were by the meeting between Kiritsugu and Yotsuba Genzou. He started living in the Main House of the Yotsuba Clan, and also, started working on the plans of invasion of Dahan.
His future father-in-law contacted the National Defense Forces and managed to strike deal with them. Not only them but also another two families from Ten Master Clans joined, namely Juumonji and Ichijō clans. Both of them were deeply affiliated with the Military, so after some talks, they agreed to a joint attack on Dahan. Japan was short on resources, most of their country was already discovered, and the only way to search for resources outside the country. Many were eager to hear the proposition of Yotsuba Genzou, to rob everything from Dahan. After some bargaining, Yotsuba would pay 30% of their loot to the military, while Juumonji and Ichijō would keep everything they can get from Taipei Island and Jeju Island.
Kiritsugu started training several people, carefully chosen, all of them volunteered themselves for this operation. He started training them in the usage of Gem Sequence Magic, and several tips on the assassination. They needed to keep the losses at a minimum. As he noticed, Yotsuba Clan was very small, if they lose more than ten people, the strength of the clan would be cut by around 20% of their entire strength.
Living under one roof with Maya was very exciting for him, the only real problem was his future father-law. Every time he went somewhere with Maya he felt a chill on his back, as he was watching him. Maya just chuckled at this, she was aware that her father was very protective. So till marriage, there would be no nightly pleasures.
“Training finished. Now everyone disperses.” Said Kiritsugu to twenty people gathered before him.
“Yes, Sir!” Everybody saluted to him, as everyone went to do their own thing.
“How are they?” Asked Yotsuba Eisaku who was overseeing the training with him. In Yotsuba, he was responsible for training. In the newly drafted structure of clan, he would be Elder he would have a position of Training Hall Master.
“Pretty good. Most of them already learned how to properly use Gem Sequence Magic. Now we need to perfect the teamwork among them. Fortunately, the quality of Yotsuba’s Magicians are top-notch, even weakest is High Combat-Class, many times stronger than even elites in the army.” Remarked Kiritsugu as he watched the training of the magicians of Yotsuba Clan.
“Yes, what we lose in quantity, we make for with quality. I hired several trustworthy assassins that you recommended, to create havoc in the Dahan. If we create unrest and riots before our attacks, their strength would be divided, and their reaction to the first wave of attack would be far slower.” Said Eisaku as he looked at his future nephew-in-law.
“Aniki decided that you would lead the operation. Consider it a final test before being accepted into the family.” Informed him Eisaku. This was something decided upon all Elders of the Yotsuba
“That I gratefully accept.” Bowed Kiritsugu slightly. Afterward, he went to Maya’s place. Currently, they weren’t attending the school, as this was far more important. Kiritsugu has his responsibilities as finishing the Gem Sequence Magic and training people for incoming battle, while Maya was also going to participate in the invasion. It was something she wanted. By her words, she was going to be next Head of Yotsuba, and it would reflect badly on her, letting her beloved go alone to the battle. Not talking that she was pretty vengeful, so she wanted to vent up her frustration and anger.
“Hi, Maya.” Asked Kiritsugu as he went to her abode.
“Hmph!”
“Are you angry at me?” He felt that the question itself was unnecessary as it was pretty clear that she was mad at him for whatever reason.
“Wou, Mr. Genius figured it out. Only training and not even spending time with his future fianceé.” Pouted Maya as she turned around, and sat there angrily.
“Don’t worry, after everything is done, I will only pay my attention to you.” Said Kiritsugu as he hugged her from behind.
“Hmph… maybe I will forgive you if you teach me some Ninjutsu.” He just nodded his head in agreement quickly. Teaching her Ninjutsu would be pretty profitable for her, as Maya’s hand-to-hand combat abilities weren’t exactly the best, one could say they were non-existent.
In some way, Maya was pretty easy to please when she was angry. He only needs to promise her he will teach her something that would increase her strength and she would be happy once again. But she was also an expert at holding grudges. If someone wronged her she would remember it for years and plot for revenge in a most brutal way.
“Hey, Kiritsugu what exactly is Project: High Table? I have seen some files on your table with that label.” Asked Maya curiously as she looked at her boyfriend.
“Something that my grandfather started with my father, but never got the chance to finish. It was a very ambitious project. Both of them saw World War III as an immense opportunity to create something akin to the government of the criminal underworld. In war, most of the criminal organizations and families perished already, creating a huge power vacuum in the criminal world. Ojii-sama came up with an idea, to unify what was left from it, and after the war ended they would control the entire criminal world.” Explained Kiritsugu to Maya who was shocked hearing this, though it was undeniable that if someone succeeded, the opportunities would be immense. In Japan, Yakuza was already destroyed and their place was taken over by Yotsuba, as they didn’t mind shady dealings.
“Not only money you could make, but the most important information-gathering abilities. Crime is everywhere, and you could use it to your advantage to spy different ways on enemy nations.” Remarked Maya as she thought about it.
“Ojii-sama died during the conflict with one of the enemies that were opposed to the establishment of High Table, and Father was killed by assassins. Now I have the power of Yotsuba on my side, I would have a much easier time establishing the High Table.” Said Kiritsugu shortly.
“How would that system worked?” Asked Maya curiously.
“Entire organization would be controlled by 12 people who will hold the 12 seats of the High Table. Though the seats wouldn’t be actually under their control but rather controlled by their families behind them. The family will elect a person or sent someone that will hold the seat, basically, you could think about it as a representative of the family. Then there is a The Adjudicator, who will act as the main agent of the High Table and will have an authority to adjudge and harm anyone even the Table members themselves that dare to challenge the Table, an Enforcer if you will. The Adjudicator will be at least Low Strategic-Class Magician.” Explained Kiritsugu briefly. He admitted that his predecessors made good work creating this system.
“You should discuss it with Otou-sama.”
“Hey, Kiritsugu, when will you complete your Strategic-Class Magic and become full-fledged Strategic-Class Magician.” Asked Maya.
“Soon. Time Collapse would soon cross Incomplete Strategic-Class, and become full-fledged Strategic-Class Magic. Did you ever wondered why only a small amount of Strategic-Class Magicians are known to the public?” Asked Kiritsugu his own question. He was Born-Specialized Magician, with innate magic, called Innate Time. Currently, Time Collapse was his only Magic that was nearing Strategic-Class. If Time Collapse, reached Strategic-Class, he could basically collapse the time expectancy of psions in a certain area, causing either a huge explosion from the fast collapse of psions or to create an area of an anti-magic domain where a person can’t use magic, if he collapsed psions slowly.
“Not much.”
“There are many Strategic-Class Magicians in the world. Most of them are called Strategic-Class because of their huge ability to cast magic, psion reserves, and mastery over spells. Their combat power far outshines that of Tactical-Class Magicians. Though only a few of them, have Strategic-Class Magic, which is capable of wide-scale destruction. There is distinctive between them, because of that, those with Strategic-Class Magic are also called Destroyers. Also, some of them have Incomplete Strategic-Class Magic, meaning the scale of destruction isn’t comparable to one but is higher than Tactical-Class. The last group is a most dangerous one, they are unregistered ones, a Destroyer Strategic-Class magician, that is completely unknown, most terrifying ones, as usual, they are far stronger than their publicly known counterparts.” Remarked Kiritsugu.
“I will train hard, to also reach Strategic-Class Magician. I can’t leave my future husband also in the endless power struggle.” Giggled Maya as she hugged her boyfriend, as they watched the shining moon.

“Patriarch, I bring you a report. Yotsuba Clan in cooperation with National Defense Force, Juumonju Clan, and Ichijo Clan are launching a mass-scale invasion. With Yotsubas are going to solely attack Dahan.”
“Hmm… who would have thought Dahan would grow so bold. My student was lucky that she was saved by Magus Killer, who by words of Grim Reaper would marry her. Yotsuba is growing too powerful, if they plan this well, they would rise too quickly and outshine all other Ten Master Clans together. If they win with minimal losses, the balance would be broken… hmm… it would be good to change to approach strategy.”
“…”
“Hmm, a child born between Maya and Magus Killer would be someone very special. There is always a way for a good arranged marriage. That way, Kudou Family could benefit from the power of Yotsuba. If they succeed… start immediately working on that thing Genzou send, this is our best chance to change it.”

31st January, the Year 2063
“Tomorrow, Operation: Bloodfall starts. From a simple revenge operation, this has evolved to something even more. Our objective is complete destruction of Dahan, and destabilization of the region so they won’t be able to recover in the next twenty years. Tomorrow, the operation would start. Everyone has a clear target. The Ichijō Clan would attack the Jeju Island of Korea Republic, that place is already abandoned by their military, and using our attack on Dahan is a perfect diversion. Juumonji Clan with National Defense Forces would attack Taipei and take over the entire Island. Finally, Yotsuba would take head-on entire Dahan. Our first target is to infiltrate these twenty military bases on close to see, and implant the Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells. After retreating to a safe distance, all of them would be imploded at the same time. At the same time, Kiritsugu would lead a team of operatives to Hong Kong to perform the assassination of several prominent Generals of Dahan and members of their Magician Battalion, where they are meeting in the hotel.” Explained Yotsuba Genzou to his clansmen that would be participating in the war against Dahan.
“Yes, Clan Head.” Came a unified answer from everyone present. Then everyone dispersed and went to their pick up point. Everything was prepared. Stealth aircraft that would be used to transport their people to Dahan. National Defense Forces were ready together with other two clans from Ten Master Clans. What started as a simple plan for revenge, grew into the plan of revenge and robbing every precious natural resource they could find.
Currently, thanks to the schemes of Yotsuba Eisaku, there were massive riots across the entire Dahan, and public security was very low. He bribed several mercenaries to create chaos there, and also some were even more creative and started their own military groups, further destabilizing the situation in the country. Thanks to that, their grasp on security and borders was lower than usual.
Infiltrating those Military Bases on the west coast of Dahan was pretty easy. They targetted fifteen largest ones, that houses all together more than fifty thousand soldiers. Several hours later, exactly fifteen people of Yotsuba Clan managed to slip through the borders and with their magic perfectly infiltrate the Military Bases and implement there tens of gems with Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells. They targetted surprisingly not their warehouses or armories as they would be robbed, but rather administration buildings, barracks, command centers, and similar where a lot of personal and soldiers were concentrated.
Especially five bases were targeted even more, as after exploding, Yotsuba Genzou would personally lead his clansman, to slaughter everyone there, and take all of the military equipment, empty armory, and take their data. These five bases were smaller compared to the rest, they have fewer personnel and soldiers stationed there, as they were a bit deeper in the territory of Dahan. They were mainly used as a supply point and had huge armory and ammunition stores, and many other things. National Defense Force Navy was also ready to act when Yotsuba Clan took over the bases, so they could empty them as soon as possible and leave before the Dahan High Command dispatches reinforcements.
1st February, 2:00 night time, Dahan, somewhere around Wentian Military Base
“Start count down of implosion. From 3… 2… 1…” Muttered older middle-aged man in combat armor.
“Zero. Send those bastards to hell.” When the command was issued, all Yotsuba operators, activated the Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells. Activating the Gem was rather easy, as only activation Magic Sequence was needed, which was very easy for Yotsubas to cast with their Flash Cast.
And soon, hell on earth, or rather Dahan started. At the same time, on the 1st of February at 2:00 night time, two hours after midnight, countless Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells exploded in fifteen Dahan military bases. Genzou watched from the distance, as barracks and many other administration buildings exploded, killing hundreds of soldiers. As raging flames started spreading through the base, and panicked people running here and there, trying to extinguish them.
“Squad 1, with me.” Commanded Genzou, as three elite members of the Yotsuba Clan went with him to raid the Wentian Military Base. It was one of smaller ones, with only three thousand soldiers present, and more than two thousand were killed during a huge series of explosions from Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells and subsequent fire.
As they were nearing the base, Genzou saw tens of soldiers patrolling around the base, with their guns in their hands, ready to fight. He just looked at them, saying nothing at all, casing his magic with Flash Cast. This technique allowed for almost instantaneous casting, due to carving spell activation sequent into mind, so the Magician would skip the first two steps, of casting a spell.
‘[Grim Reaper]’ When Genzou cast his spell, all of the soldiers immediately killed themselves on the spot without any resistance. This magic was his pride and strongest weapon. A Mental Interference Type Magic of the outer-Systematic Type. It plants a specific image within the target’s mind, usually one of death. After the target has been exposed, no form of protection, distance, or time will stop the magic. As long as the victim recalls the image, the implanted suggestion will take physical form. Enemies who meet Genzou for a second time would kill themselves. The implantation process does not seem to require a direct meeting, but the final kill does require it. The target has to be aware of the user and the user has to be aware of the target.
“Disperse and start assassinating every living being you see there. If you see some surviving high-ranking officials, knock them out, we will hand them to National Defense Forces, they could be useful in some way.” Three members of the Yotsuba Clan dispersed and started bloody slaughter of everyone who survived the explosion in the base. Most of the soldiers weren’t even magicians, only normal people, and Magicians were weak. Not comparable to the Yotsuba. With Genzou joining them, they slowly killed all living beings here. Three thousand people perished in this base within one hour. Fortunately, no-one was killed, as they had Gem Sequence Defense Spells and Gem Sequence Healing Spells, to preserve their life.
“Send Message to National Defense Forces to send the transportation team. Wentian Military Base is secured.” Commanded Genzou to one of his clansmen.
“Start downloading their data center. After done, destroy it.”
Similar scenes didn’t occur only here but also in four other bases. Tainan Military Base was under attack of Yotsuba Eisaku, Longyou Military Base was under attack Yotsuba Motosuke, Heiwei Military Base was under attack of Kuroba Juuzou, and Wangcai Military Base was under attack of Tsukuba Ayaka.
Altogether in five bases, ten thousand soldiers perished, and an additional fifteen thousand in the other ten due to extensive explosion. It was called a true massacre. Soon enough, after Yotsubas secured the five smallest bases, National Defense Force Navy came quickly and Japanese soldiers started transporting everything from those bases from weapon and ammunition to magic tanks and food rations. Nothing would remain there.
“Genzou-dono, transportation is complete.” Reported on an officer from National Defense Forces.
“Hmm. Good, we will retreat. Plant more Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells on the base and raze it to the ground.” This time it was soldiers of National Defense Forces that were planting the Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells as they were also supplied with them. Also, Yotsuba Clan arranged a trade for them with the Military.
Hong Kong, 1st February, 5:00 morning
“Everything in place? Report!” Said the man smoking a cigarette, clothed in a black trenchcoat, and personalized CAD Walther WA 200. He inhaled smoke before looking at his target.
“Yes, Sir. Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells are placed around the entire hotel.”
“Yes, Sir. Three high-ranking Generals of Dahan are meeting at the top floor of the Hong Kong Imperial Hotel, together with them we have confirmed there is Commander of Tactical Magicians Squad Wang Jie, with two members of his squad.” Reported another member.
“Clean the perimeter. When the explosion is on, the entire hotel should collapse. Afterward, leave this place as soon as possible. They would lock up an entire city within the next half an hour.”
Meanwhile on the top floor of the Hong Kong Imperial Hotel
“What the f*** you mean we have lost fifteen military bases and all of them are destroyed?!” Screamed a middle-aged man clothed in a richly decorated military uniform.
“Exactly what I said. It’s the Yotsuba. They have organized everything, who else would be bold enough to attack the entire country alone. From the information we could confirm, five military bases are completely destroyed, loss of lives is more than twenty thousand soldiers. Additionally, Juumonji Clan together with National Defense Forces has taken over Taipei Island.” Said another man in general uniform, while the atmosphere in the room was colder than absolute zero.
“We need to secure our territory. I fear this was only a first wave of attacks. They only targeted military bases, their next target should be high ranking officials of the Dahan.” All of them nodded their heads in agreement. Last few months the situation wasn’t really good at Dahan. As if someone has been investing a lot of resources to destabilize the country.
“Sent reinforcements to the attacked military bases. We need to secure borders before we are attacked. Great Asian Alliance is eyeing our territory. And if Japan attacked with their full force results could be catastrophic. How is the security at our critical spots?”
“Military HQ, Parliament, and Palace of Leader are guarded by Tactical-Class Magicians. In shadow, there are two Strategic-Class Magicians, from which one is capable Strategic-Class Magic in the capital city. The only vulnerable spot is Kunlunfang Institute, but HQ sent there one Low Strategic-Class Magician to guard it against potential attacks.” Reported one of the generals of Dahan.
As they were discussing matters about their country, Kiritsugu was currently channeling a spell through his CAD, Walther WA 200. The spell he was going to cast, was his Incomplete Strategic-Class Magic, Time Collapse. He won’t risk everything in Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells. He would cast Time Collapse, as the top floor, and explosion from the top floor would ignite Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells withing Gems that were hidden through the hotel, ensuring no one attending that meeting would survive. Double-check, one could say.
Many eidos codes started appearing around the Specialized CAD Walther WA 200 until soon enough the spell itself was ready. This CAD was specially designed for the usage of Strategic-Class Magic [Time Collapse].
‘[Time Collapse: Fast Mode]’ And then he cast the spell. The spell could be cast in two ways. Fast Mode that causes an explosion of psions in the area, and Slow Mode, that slowly collapses psions, and create an Anti-Psion area for the next one hour. After he cast the spell, nothing happened, and he just watched the top floor of the hotel.
‘Booooom!’ Suddenly, the top floor of the Hotel exploded in a huge explosion reaching several meters high in the air. And that wasn’t enough. After the initial explosion, it all started… a chain reaction. Suddenly, Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells that were hidden through the hotel, started exploding one after another. Kiritsugu was careful, he instructed to implant several Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells into each floor, to be sure the entire hotel collapsed and buried and killed everyone there. He knew that there were many people from Dahan Military and government through the entire hotel, as they were using it for important meetings.
He stood on the roof of the building far away from the Hong Kong Imperial Hotel and watched the explosion happening there one after another. It was a thirty-storey building, and soon enough it started cracking, and Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells that were located in the main pillars that were supporting the entire building started collapsing until they collapsed entirely.
Everyone could watch in horror as the enormous building fell apart, until not even one storey remained, as everything turned to rubbles and ruins, under countless Gem Sequence Magic Explosion Spells.
“Hmm… now I wonder what will they do next.” Muttered Kiritsugu as he lit up another cigarette as he disappeared into the darkness.

“Genzou-sama, entire Hong Kong Imperial Hotel was destroyed. From information transmitted through Dahan secret service, we have managed to intercept. Three high-ranking Generals died in the place, together with 25 Tactical-Class Magicians, including Commander of Tactical Magicians Brigade Wang Jie. Also among losses reported, there were additional more than fifty military officers, three hundred soldiers, several politicians, officers from the Ministry of Defense, and many others. Loss of civilian lives is more than two and a half thousand, and still increasing.” Reported one of the Yotsuba Clansmen to Clan Head.
“Excellent, excellent. Who would have thought that lad would implode the entire hotel to kill them. Though his choice is right. It was the best way to kill all of them in one place. Truly effective.” Laughed Yotsuba Genzou, while some people had chills running through their spines. Some of them saw, the “lad”, their Clan Head praised affectionately. At first look he seemed, very unimportant and almost invisible. Who would have thought, he was that ruthless demon.
“Send a message to my future son-in-law that we will meet at meeting point K. He would command attack on Kunlunfang Institute. Eisaku, you take your people and attack places marked. Remember to kill them all. Tomorrow they have an emergency meeting. They would be in full attendance. Also, don’t forget to properly lure away those two Strategic-Class Magicians, one of them has Strategic-Class Magic.” What Yotsuba Genzou talked about was the parliament of Dahan, as tomorrow would be an emergency meeting. The plan for that one was simple, as they would first lure away Strategic-Class Magicians, and then attack the parliament of Dahan, massacring everyone there. A few Tactical-Class Magicians won’t be a threat to them.
“Yes, Aniki. All of them would be turned to corpses.” Grinned viciously his younger brother.
“Also, Aniki what do you think about those two projects that nephew Kiritsugu mentioned?”
“You mean Project: High Table and Project: Equilibrium?”
“Yeh.”
“Both of them would be a great boon. Especially for Project: Equilibrium we need to act as fast as possible. Why do you think Juumonji and Ichijo clans agreed? It is all show of power, we Ten Master Clans possesses. What we currently need, is not to have privileges in Japan… no… we need to control the country.
