chapter – 143 – AI For Golem

Right now, in a very base sense of what the requirements were going to be for his larger plan, one thing stood out — Epsilon needed to create an ‘AI’. At the same time, he had to be careful that his technology or process did not get exposed or fall into the hands of others easily.

An AI, similar to the drones, would be enough but it was not profitable in Epsilon’s eyes.

“I can create an AI similar to the drones but a more downgraded version of it.”

Epsilon thought in his mind.

Seconds later, he started forging a downgraded AI into the Ether Stone core. It took him two hours of work to complete the design to the specification he wanted.

He opened the standing Stone Golem’s abdomen, inserted the Ether Stone Core in it and then activated it.

The golem started glowing with a purple light and then started moving.

Epsilon laughed a little and nodded his head. The golem started running around, doing some exercises and making some more moves to show its power and abilities to Epsilon.

Once Epsilon checked out his finished product, he commented.

“The power, energy usage and other things are good and effective just like I wanted. Considering that I am using stones from this dimension, all the other things needed for automating the golem would cost around 10 Ether Stones.”

When Epsilon created the Ether Stone Core, it could not be said that he wasted an Ether Stone. Instead, since the Ether Stone became the chip that was powering up the Stone Golem, it was put to good purpose.

However, if he wanted to produce quickly and without putting his mind towards the production process, he would need to use 10 Ether Stones to mass-produce the golems. These were used for creating and activating the ‘Ether Stone Core’ and the spells inside it. This amount was not much for Epsilon so he decided to move forward with this plan.

He took a deep breath and then used his mind to call the Void Dealer out.

Void Dealer manifested in a second as he wanted him to come to his side as well.

Void Dealer showed a smile on his face. By this time, the Void Market already knew about Epsilon and how effective and profitable the things he did for their market was. Hence, they showed a more respectful and even ingratiating attitude towards him.

The reason for Void Dealer’s smile on seeing Epsilon was because he knew that whenever Epsilon called him, he would find another deal for the Market that would be profitable.

Void Dealer nodded to Epsilon as Epsilon started talking.

“Hi Void Dealer, what do you think about this golem and how much would you give for one of these?”

Void Dealer nodded and looked at the Stone Golem moving with an agile force and power. It was not weak on any count, if not considering the whole universe but just this planet.

He thought carefully and answered.

“I can buy each of these golems for 100 Ether Stones, as I see that they have some kind of artificial intelligence and strong defensive capabilities despite their level not being high at all.”

Epsilon smiled at Void Dealer’s answer and nodded. Void Dealer then asked only one question to Epsilon because, in its businessman mind, that was the only thing that mattered the most.

“How many of these golems can you produce?”

Epsilon considered this a little and answered.

“Daily, I should be able to produce 10 golems. Also, the name of these golems is Epsilon Rock Golems.”

As he said these words, on the Stone Golem’s forehead, an insignia that looked like the ‘Epsilon’ symbol appeared.

Void Dealer laughed and nodded.

“It is decided then. You can use your energy card to sell these golems. We will pay 1000 Ether Stones for 10 Golems daily. Is this acceptable?”

Epsilon smiled and indicated that he agreed.

After Epsilon and Void Dealer made the deal, Void Dealer vanished and on Epsilon’s card, there was more information.

‘Energy Card – Epsilon’

‘Energy Selling – 100 City Level Energy – Per Day – ‘500,000 Ether Stones’ & Day’

‘Golem Selling – 10 Golems – Per Day ‘1000 Ether Stones’ & Day’

Epsilon smiled and looked at the profit difference between selling energy and golems. From this perspective, he understood that selling at least 10 golems per day were not going to give him anything from a profitability standpoint.

However, he had a different plan for the golem production line. Ultimately, he wanted to create a race. The new race would need a source of income but not much. Epsilon believed that it would not be good for them to earn too much because they would then be too powerful and would not make any progress, as they would fix everything with resources.

Based on this reasoning, Epsilon thought that by allocating the profits gathered from the golem creation to the new race that he was going to create, he would give them enough resource to improve their lives but not overestimate their power.

Once the deal was completed, Epsilon went back to his home.

Back in his main home, Epsilon noticed that the sky had already turned dark and most of the Green Spider houses outside were closed down. Most of them were sleeping and there was only a handful of them walking around in the night.

Epsilon did not think any longer and just lied down on his bed and slept. He was not tired physically but mentally, he was worn out.

As a new day began, he completed his morning ablutions and made himself a simple breakfast from the food in the house. Then he prepared himself some tea as he went outside to his courtyard to sit on the chair. While Epsilon took his breakfast, the Green Spider Race was already awake and busy with different tasks. Some of them were working, while some of them were preparing food and some of them were discussing their future plans.

Epsilon himself knew that they still needed to repair the warp drive of their spaceship, Green Spider Satellite, to go back to their race and their home planet.
