Chapter – 150 – werfur and Green Spider Race

Seeing that his race was finally alive and in action, Epsilon went back to his home smiling. He was happy that the Crowia race creation was completed. The Crowia race was not aware but Epsilon had done something that they could not understand with their present level of intelligence or knowledge.

He knew there were other races and beings in the Stone Dimension. Because of his understanding of the dimension, Epsilon had formed a shield that was invisible to the Crowia beings but not to others who wanted to come to their island. Essentially, this was just a protective shield that would stay active for a month or two. Epsilon wanted to give them some sort of a gestation period before leaving them stranded on the island.

One had to know that other than their intellectual capability and flying ability, their physical power was lesser than ordinary humans. They needed some time to generate resources using the Ether Stones that would come to them from selling Stone Golems, to build a place for themselves.

One month was not much for what Epsilon wanted them to do but he believed they would not let him down. Considering these things, Epsilon was in a good mood and did not think much about the Crowia race any longer.

At this time, a Green-Spider knocked on his door and started talking.

“Lord Epsilon, there is something out there that you need to see.”

Epsilon nodded and left his home and was led by the Green Spider race member.

He noticed Sparia and went to his side to talk to him.

“What is it Sparia? Is there a problem?”

Sparia shook his head and started talking.

“Oh no, it is not a problem at all. We were contacted by the Werfur race, the race with white fur and long ears. They seemed to be interested in trading with us and doing other kinds of business engagements. I wanted to hear about them from you.”

Epsilon chuckled and started talking.

“Oh, the Werfur race you say. There are a good race and friends of mine. I know them and I do a lot of things with them. They are trustworthy and good friends that you can make. Just do not give your technology to them as when it comes to technological progress, they are far behind you but when it comes to physical and magical progress, you are far behind them.”

Sparia thought about this a little and said.

“Basically, we can give them technological knowledge in return for other materials that we needed as well as some magical information.”

Epsilon smiled and answered.

“Yes, you can. They would be happy to have some kind of trading and interaction with a race that is capable of space travel and have this kind of technology in their arsenal.”

Sparia fell into thought again and asked.

“Epsilon, do you think technology is weaker than magic or is magic weaker than technology?”

Epsilon shook his head and started talking. He knew why Sparia asked him a question like this but he did not put much thought into it as it was meaningless for him to do so.

“There are differences between technology and magic. You can do many things with both of these. It is just that technology is more logical and needs to make more sense than magic. In the hands of others, magic is fueled by creativity and pure individuals or organizations form the total volume of magic.”

“With enough magical energy and imagination, as well as superb control capability, there is nothing you cannot do. But when it comes to technology, even if you have many resources with personnel capable of controlling these technological gadgets, there are still things you cannot do and need to be supported by knowledge. Not to mention, the knowledge should be accurate. But you already know these things.”

Sparia nodded and then added.

“Basically, magic has more contours and other ways for one to do things. However, strong technological progress is still strong enough to take on most of the magical forces.”

Epsilon smiled and continued.

“Your satellite is powerful enough to take care of all mages or organizations on this planet, even if there are strong mages here who can hold their own.”

Sparia took a deep breath and smiled as he added.

“But not you. Am I right?”

Epsilon laughed unabashedly and nodded as he answered.

“Even if your entire race tries to defeat me with all your technology and force, I would not break a sweat in taking you guys out.”

Sparia was not offended by Epsilon words and laughed it off. Epsilon at this time added one more point.

“A realistically high technological progress or technological gadget is no different than magic. One of my friends said this to me back then. The power of technological things and magic depends on only one thing — who are you dealing with?”

“A basic sword is enough to pose a threat to an ordinary wolf but nothing when compared to you guys.”

“But that sword is no different than the magical capability that can harm itself. It is the same as others. Your satellite is the sword you are holding and the mages of this planet are the wolves that do not understand what it is. So, it should be magic.”

“But in comparison, I know what is the sword you are holding but I have a spaceship on my side so I am not scared of it at all.”

Sparia listened to Epsilon without interrupting him and exhaled a good while later. He wore an impressed look on his face.

He knew that Epsilon was a strong being with many abilities and powers. He was recognized by the Void Market but Sparia was still impressed by his ability to understand things and see them for what they are. If earlier, he was amazed by Epsilon’s prowess, he was now awed by his wisdom and knowledge.

Epsilon had a clear view on many subjects that many races would find hard to comprehend.
