chapter – 151 – Do not Mess With Him

Epsilon could hear muffled morning noises as he opened his eyes. He was in his room, waking up to a new day. He was left rather exerted after his feat in completing project Crowia, which entailed the creation of a new race. However, even he was aware that he did not need sleep to recuperate. This was just mental conditioning that he probably brought forward from his days on Earth — resting was good for the physical body and the brain.

In fact, there were sayings on Earth to sleep it off, indicating that after a good night’s sleep, even big problems appeared to be solvable. It may be true or not, but most of this, anyway, was in people’s minds.

He got up from his bed and after his morning routine, changed into a new set of black, tight-fitting uniform that was very similar to aristocratic clothes. He looked at the mirror and smiled at the handsome, god-like face that could not hide the indifference in the eyes.

Without making breakfast, Epsilon started meditating first. He was keen to increase his magical level and power and this was a necessary step for that.

He had undertaken a difficult task when he set out to create a completely new race from scratch, but he did not forget that it left with him a near-death experience from overuse of magical energy, indicating he did not have enough energy to produce results that he aspired for, and that were in line with what he imagined for his creation. He did not want to put himself in the same situation but he also knew that without forcing himself to do difficult things, chances were that he would be stuck in a rut and an unsatisfactory situation.

For some reason, he was reminded of yet another saying among humans, which was that an unused blade gets blunt over time. In his case, it meant using his power to its extreme as much as he could. Without forcing himself to do harder than usual things, and using the power of imagination and other abilities, he would not have any power that was at par with creating newer, more important things.

These things may appear simple but it is fundamental for every creature to push themselves towards evolution. As Epsilon completed his meditation, he had breakfast and left his home. The crowd in his courtyard did not let him feel alone. The Green Spiders were already awake and started working on their own.

Epsilon went to Sparia and started talking.

“Do you people want to go back to your planet or do you have another place that you call home?”

Sparia understood the reason behind this question. It was only to be expected from the landholder to ask this. He had also been thinking about what to do when it came to what he needed to do given their situation. There was no going back as they would be destroyed by the leaders of other factions.

If they were not going to go back to their home planet, it was better to find a new place to settle. They could start building a different society of the Green Spiders and make a new home. Maybe in the future, the factions would have an agreement with each other and form a federal government that was controlled by the factions but had its law and order.

Even if it would not be the best thing for Sparia to imagine, at the very least, their country and race would be safeguarded and have the power to resist if they encountered an enemy race or danger. It was the best-case scenario in his mind. There really was not much that could be done in any case.

Sparia then answered.

“It would be better for us to build a different place, which we can call home.”

Epsilon nodded and then started talking.

“It means that you are planning to have your own land. I am sure you are not thinking about occupying mine, right!”

Epsilon spoke and chuckled, indicating his jovial mood. Sparia too laughed and shook his head as he answered.

“Yes, it would be better if we had some land of our own. And, of course, we do not want to take yours.”

Epsilon started thinking as put his hand on his chin and asked.

“What kind of land do you need? I mean like a forest, desert or something like that.”

Sparia thought a little and answered.

“We, from the Green Spider race, like to live in mountainous regions and underground most of the time. So, these two kinds of places would be fine for us.”

Epsilon nodded and thought a little as he vanished. Seconds later, Epsilon manifested in front of the Blue Tear City gate, shocking onlookers and guards out of their skins. Epsilon looked at the guards and shook his head as he vanished and manifested in the building, where Blue Tear City sold properties for Ether Stones.

This time, a man in his middle-ages was sitting on the chair and looking at some reports, seemingly doing his usual tasks. As he saw Epsilon appear from thin air, he was shocked but Epsilon started talking without paying attention to this.

“I am Epsilon, one of the nobles of Blue Tear City, I think. I would like to buy land. Show me your lands that have mountains and caves as well as usable and easy to dig underground places.”

The middle-aged man was named Erico. Erico was appointed to sell the land and other things by the decree of the Blue Tear City Government. He listened to Epsilon’s words and had an inkling of what was happening. As a government official of some standing, he knew Epsilon and how powerful he was.

The Blue Tear City gossip and official instructions scared this man so much and they also had a clear order to not mess with Epsilon. After listening to Epsilon’s instructions, Erico started showing three different lands that matched Epsilon’s requirements. After some observation, Epsilon liked a large place that suited what he and also what Sparia wanted.
