Busybody Epsilon kept doing this and that. Eventually, his mind wandered to how much of his dedication and meditation had resulted in improving his status and power. Therefore, he found himself a comfortable sitting spot and opened his status system for the update.

Epsilon was immersed in what he read. He checked his status thoroughly in his mind.

Epsilon mused to himself. There was one particular aspect though that caught his attention and got him thinking. It was the mention of ‘law’. He had seen the word ‘law’ used in the Void Market several times but never had the chance or interest to understand what it meant.
By now, curiosity had taken a hold on his mind and Epsilon opened the Void Market and searched for ‘Law Knowledge’. The first book he came across was ‘Introduction to Law and Law Power’. This was priced at 10 Void Stones. Considering the total amount of resources and funds Epsilon owned was 20 Void Stones at the most, he thought that the price of a simple introduction book was too much.
Epsilon believed that many races could not fork out even one Void Stone not to mention 10 Void Stones. He had bought a country-size land using 500,000 Ether Stones for the Green Spider race, which 0.5 Void Stone. If he were to use 10 Void Stones to buy land, he would most likely be able to buy a small green planet all for himself. This indicated that the book was much more valuable than premium real estate.
Technically said, the book itself was not that valuable but it was the subject of ‘Introduction to Law and Law Power’ that was valuable. The content of the book could only be afforded by the people who had no qualms paying 10 Void Stone without thinking much.
It has been a while since Epsilon had had to think about something being expensive. He thought some more and said to himself.
“It is not like I have better things to do.”
Epsilon decided that the next goal and plan of his research was about the knowledge of ‘law’. He wanted to learn what it was and what it entailed. Considering that he had a safe, regular income from his energy sales that gave him 500,000 Ether Stones daily, he would earn back this money in 20 days. Considering his level and lifespan, 20 days hardly counted. If he wanted, he could do many things to create resources for himself. After all the mulling over, he convinced himself to buy.
He bought the book placing a simple order, and his account balance turned to 10 Void Stones from 20 Void Stones. 10 Void Stones = 10,000,000 Ether Stones or 10 Million Ether Stones.
A black book with ‘Law and Power’ materialized in his hands after the payment was made. Epsilon opened the book and started reading.
