chapter – 170 Virtual Arena Hub

Epsilon entered the Virtual Arena Hub and started looking around. There were many beings with different kinds of bodies and forms here that he did not expect to see. Among these, at least three races seemed to have the most number of members.

Two giant eyes monitored their surroundings from their huge sockets. A pig-like nose rested below them, but it’s the normal mouth that took all the attention. A happy smile revealed two dull canines and a broad tongue.

Thin round ears sat on each side of its small, narrow head, which itself was covered in silk and has two broad horns protruding from the sides hair.

Its tall skinny body was slightly hunched over. Two lean arms dangled at its sides and ended in narrow hands with short fingers, each with long nails. Its legs were small and stood straight, each ending in small feet. Its body was covered in thick scales and its shoulders were broader than its pelvis.

Three large eyes inspected their surroundings from their large sockets. A pig-like nose rested below, but it’s the narrow mouth that was really eye-catching. A happy smile revealed two sharp canines and a thin tongue.

Wide pointy ears sat on each side of its large, narrow head, which itself was covered in wavy hair and has two small horns protruding from the top.

Its long fat body stood straight. Two broad arms dangled at its sides and on its end were broad hands with stubby fingers, each with dull nails.

Its legs were muscular and stood straight, each ending in small feet.

Its body was covered in delicate skin and its shoulders were about the same width as its pelvis.

Four clear eyes monitored their surroundings from their broad sockets. A gentle nose rested below, but it’s the shallow mouth that took all the attention. A brittle smile revealed two long canines and a broad tongue.

Wide pointy ears sat on each side of its large, squared head, which itself is covered in short hair. Its short athletic body is slightly hunched over. Two average arms dangle at its sides and end in small hands with thin fingers, each with dull nails.

Its legs were tall and bent, each ending in hairy feet.

Its body was covered in coarse skin and its shoulders were broader than its pelvis, from which a short tail swayed back and forth.

Epsilon did not know about these three creatures and their names but he knew that in the end, he would learn about them. The surroundings were simple. The white-colored walls built the space and there were many black and different colored shops that sold different kinds of things. The currency used was Ether Stones for cheap things and Void Stones for higher value materials. As he was walking, a young boy with a human figure got close to him and started talking.

“Hi. I am Nyga. I am a human advisor that helps new people and humans in the arena.”

Epsilon shook his head and then directly found the console of Virtual Arena Hub.

‘Hub System’

‘Battle’

‘Ongoing Battles’

‘Watch’

‘Contact Sub-Manager’

‘Hub Teleportation’

‘Sell and Buy’

Epsilon smiled and nodded. Things were good from what he was seeing. All things considered, most of the tasks should not be possible without a good Law Being in their hands and enough funds. He clicked on the ‘Watch’ section and saw three ongoing fights. Of course, there were more than three but he would need to click on the ‘reset’ button to access those.

‘Battle 1’

‘Alimor vs Naligor – Death Match’

‘Alimor Race – ‘Moonstone Creature’  ‘Level – Lord’’

Only allowed on Creativenovels.com

‘Naligor Race – ‘Redlord’ ‘Level – Lord’’

The battlegrounds were ‘A Ghost Town’ suitable for beings who liked sneak attacks and ranged places.

Epsilon thought.

“Battle Map”

The gentle road that led to Carningsby was barely discernible through the weeds and grasses that had reclaimed it. Gardens grew beyond their artificial borders and began claiming parts of the streets and houses.

Many doors had collapsed as rot ate away their edges. The open doorways that were once perhaps very welcoming were now an eerie and unwelcoming sight. Many roofs had fallen through and in some cases, had taken the entire building with it. Others looked in decent shape and were simply dirty and filled with bird nests.

Carningsby, once rich with life, hopes, dreams and aspirations was now a mere distant memory of better times. The creaking of wood and the grinding of metal on metal were the only remaining sounds in this town. They were disturbing noises in an unsettling environment.

The clock tower was somehow still rich with sounds, but it wasn’t its bells and gears as those had stopped working a long time ago. It was a flock of crows that had made this once great pillar their new home.

Dear Readers. Scrapers have recently been devasting our views. At this rate, the site (creativenovels .com) might...let's just hope it doesn't come to that. If you are reading on a scraper site. Please don't.

Despite the decay of the buildings, there was a certain charm about the town. Everything was greener as nature grew wild and the quiet during the day was almost peaceful. But even when all the buildings were finally taken by nature, there was at least the knowledge that the animals wouldn’t have to leave and could continue their lives in peace.

Epsilon also did not miss the ‘Death Match’ mention. He believed that in the end, the one who lost the battle would be dying in reality too considering it was a death match. It was why the number of spectators was too much amounting to millions, even billions.

Epsilon believed there was nothing wrong with watching this battle to have a sense of this place. Of course, he was not a fool to just enter a death match battle from the start. His lack of experience would play a crucial role in the ‘Death-Battle’.

Of course, considering he had Mobius Strip Law’s Mobius Infinium, there should be nothing that could kill him in real battle. It was also that he knew that the battle system will not arrange a weaker being than himself. The being in front of him would at least be at the level of Cardinal and have a similar power level to him.

If not, things would not be good for the weaker side and spectators who normally paid for watching the battle and engaged in the betting would not really find a viable way to lay their wagers with an obvious winner favorite.
