Nick pocketed his inspiration for utilizing magnetic energy, completing the formula for his new spell. He then let out a cool breath and smiled as he activated the spell.
As soon as the spell was in action, Nick felt magical energy sucked out of his body at a fast pace even though the action halted five to six seconds later.
The magical energy powered up the Magnetic Gravity Aura Shield, and about two seconds later, a shield-aura manifested around Nick’s body.
The aura was colorless and could not be seen by the naked eye without the use of powerful equipment or a strong magical spell that specialized in ‘seeing’ things such as ‘detection’ abilities.
It was only natural for the spell to be colorless as the spell was made up of two elements and was powered by magical energy.
Gravity Force + Magnetic Force (Powered By Magical Energy)
Nick knew, without even the need to test the spell, that it was capable of blocking spells and deflecting it back at the attacker in some cases.
With two new passive defense abilities in place, Nick believed that he had no reason to be scared of the ‘green’ places unless there was a new creature that was of an even higher level than the Provec Level Mages.
Nick got up from the stone mountain he was sitting on and took flight. The target destination this time was the same green island he had tried to enter earlier.

After about 10 minutes up in the sky, Nick managed to find the island. However, as he got closer, he noticed an arrow that was headed right for him.
“Flickkss!!!”
The arrow shot by the Ancient Stone Archer flicked after hitting the Magnetic Gravity Shield Aura. This was the same arrow that nearly destroyed Nick’s earlier passive shield. After the reinforcements, the arrow did not pose any kind of threat to Nick anymore.
The shield aura did not even require magical energy to replenish itself, indicating that it was perfectly capable to block such arrows without exerting any noticeable effort or consuming a higher amount of magical energy because of its defensive nature or combat power.
Nick took a deep breath and flicked his finger. A sizeable ‘Sonic Bullet’ manifested and raced right at the Ancient Stone Archer.
“Buffs”
The Sonic Bullet hit the Ancient Stone Archer’s body, destroying it to pieces.
Nick smiled and descended to the ground to inspect the archer. The creature was exactly as its name suggested. It was smashed to pieces now but Nick could make out that it did not wear any kind of garb. It was just a pure male human body made up of stone, holding a bow and arrows with black strings.
Nick let out a deep sigh. These things were indeed interesting.
As he was going to pay some more attention to the Stone Ancient Archer and perhaps even its lineage, he noticed four different creatures looking at him with hostile eyes.
Each of these creatures was different from the other.
One of them was a pure black snake with yellow eyes. Its height should be around 15-25 meters and its scales looked strong.
“Black Steel Snake.”
The creature level was at Level 10. It should have the same kind of power as the Ancient Stone Archer.
The second creature appeared to be a mixed breed between a cat and a bear. It was four-legged, standing at a height of more than three meters. It seemed as powerful as a bear and as agile as a cat.
“Cat Bear Devil.”
Its level was stronger than the Black Snake and was at Level 13.
The third creature was a bird of some kind. Nick was not familiar with this kind of bird but it bore similarity to the ‘Terror Bird’ and ‘Ostrich’ from Earth. Its height was around five meters and it was standing on two legs. Its name was ‘Black Gold King Bird’.
It was brown colored with blue eyes but the most important detail about it was its head. The right half was made up of gold and the left was of iron. Its level was 13 as well.
The fourth and the last creature was a humanoid not much different from the Ancient Stone Archer. However, this one had a female human body and it was wearing a green and blue colored crown. Its body was made up of some form of a hard crystallized material like the obsidian stone. The female human creature was blue colored and looked strong.
“Forest Lady of Beast.”
The most interesting thing was she was at Level 16, and was at peak Prive Level, nearly becoming Provec Level. Nick stood no chance to kill here in a full-throttle battle.
Nick gazed at the four creatures, waiting for them to make a move. Despite being outnumbered and out-leveled, he was not scared of them. If he did not possess two new shields, he would be as they would most likely have the means to attack him and maybe even block his teleportation.
At this time, the Forest Lady of Beast started speaking. Nick thought that it was only natural that a creature that looked like a human and was a step away from the Provec Level would have the capability to communicate.
“You look like the big statue of the ancient race called ‘human’. Why would you kill ‘Protector’?”
Nick closed his eyes to understand the words directed at him and then answered.
“I am a human. The one you call Protector tried to kill me. I only defended myself.”
The Forest Lady of Beast nodded and looked at the pieces of the Ancient Stone Archer that were scattered on the ground and then started talking.
“I believe you are here to see the ‘Statue’ of your ancestors. At least you are passing through, as the statue is not here.”
Nick furrowed his brows. He did not think that his motive would be discovered this soon. But he also knew that lying was not an option and it would not work in front of a creature as smart as this stone lady.
“Yes, I am. May I ask what is this island and why it is greener compared to the other rock islands.”
The Forest Lady of Beast smiled and started talking. It seemed that she was happy to hear this question.
