Chapter 86 – Forest Energy Banishment

The Heavyweight Batilor was fighting against the Reaper Anubite. When it came to power and proficiency in using magical energy, he was more capable than this summoned creature but in terms of agility and fighting capability, the creature outpowered him ruthlessly. This surprised the Batilor commander. He did not expected a summon from his enemy have stronger points in some particular fight techniques. If summon have this power what kind of power summoner have

It should be known that both the Heavyweight Batilor and the Reaper Anubite could not fly on their own. This was why they were neither accustomed to nor built for air battles.

The Heavyweight Batilor was flying using a basic magical item that enabled flight for a limited duration of time. The real use of this item was for air transportation and not battle.

The Reaper Anubite was capable of flying right now because it was Nick’s summoned creature and Nick was feeding him the needed magical power to fight while flying.

As these two continued their battle, a sneak attack from a second Reaper Anubite hit the Heavyweight Batilor’s right elbow, slicing it with ease.

The Heavyweight Batilor reacted quickly and put a distance between the two assailants. He realized that the fight changed from a one-on-one to a two-against-one, the odds not being in his favor.

He was already at his limit facing one of them but fighting against two, with only one arm, was not an ideal situation. The Heavyweight Batilor panicked not sure how he would deal with this situation that he thought was an unfair fight.

This, however, was not Nick’s problem. Without any signs of mercy in his eyes, Nick threw out one word.

“Kill.”

With their summoner’s order, the Reaper Anubites went all out on the Heavyweight Batilor. The mixed-DNA creature tried protecting himself fruitlessly. In a mere five seconds, with their combined attacks, its head was cut off by the golden shaded sickle.

As the creature fell on the ground, Nick felt an energy force growing within him. It seemed that the system was impacted by this experience. As long as Nick entered battles with creatures not much weaker than himself and killed them, his level would upgrade.

“I am short on Ether Stones right now but once these events are done, I will teleport back and start working on other things.”

By other things, Nick meant research, resource-gathering, knowledge-gathering, and even building an organization of some kind that could let him earn money without him actively needing to do something.

Money, in this case, of course, meant Ether Stones.

With one Batilor commander out of the picture, Nick turned his head to view Lalia and Foria’s battles. He wanted to see what they and their enemies were capable of.

By now, he unsummoned the two Reaper Anubites and re-summoned the 200 Regular Anubites, sending them to the on-ground battle. Nick could sense the energy of Forest Leader Foria’s support team coming through as well; they were already reaching the battlefield.

The enemy force’s reinforcement should also be expected. The additional 200 Anubites would be a good deal of power to change the course of the battle.

Considering they were not real creatures but summoned ones, which could be called again as long as Nick had magical energy in his reserves and was not tired, there should be no problem.

Nick, in fact, was aware that with the use of his Vacuum Bomb, he could clean up the enemy troops within a minute. But why would he do that? It was not like Foria was the same as Rabial and they shared good deals or friendly relations.

The fact that he was helping them like this was already a big surprise. If he did any more, it may even be considered suspicious behavior.

With the addition of the rest of the troops including ‘Wood Soldiers’, ‘Wood Archers’ and ‘Wood Mages’ as well as the 200 Regular Anubites, the on-ground battle was already in Foria’s favor.

Foria, however, was immersed in the battle with his opponent called ‘Master Batilor’. They had already dealt two to three blows to each other. With a green sword in his right hand, Foria’s left hand was radiating green energy. Master Batilor, on the other hand, was holding a spear-like weapon and his body was exuding blue and black energy.

They both had sustained some injuries on their bodies by now. At this time, Foria looked at his opponent and started talking.

“Why did you attack us suddenly? I know we are enemies, but I do not believe there was no reason for you to attack without provocation.”

Master Batilor giggled a little bit and answered.

“You are a fool, Foria, you are a fool. I have enough reason to attack you when you live in a lush forest with fertile lands and clear water, while my people bite on rocks and bugs that they can find in mountains. Did you think this way of living was good?”

Foria shook his head and did not speak any longer. With the green energy in his hand expanding to cover his body, he shot towards the enemy, holding his green sword.

Master Batilor immediately took on a defensive stance and waited for the attack.

Foria cut horizontally from the right side. The Batilor stopped the attack using his spear and counter-attacked with a piercing shot.

Foria backed down a bit and whispered.

“Forest Energy Blast.”

With his words, the green energy in his left hand exploded towards the Master Batilor, who took the hit full-on and coughed blood. The green energy in Foria’s left hand then dimmed.

Nick commented.

“They have a good deal of close-combat experience. The Forest Energy Blast was compressed magical energy with the power of nature. With the will of the user, it will explode towards the enemy like the roar of a lion.”

“Master Batilor does not seem to have any abilities. I did not check his status for more experience but let’s wait and see.”

At this time, Foria smiled. It was the smile of someone who knew he already won. The green sword in his right hand vanished as he whispered three commands.

“Forest Energy Spears.”

“Forest Energy Negative Aura.”

“Forest Energy Banishment.”
