At that time General looked at Epsilon and remembered his friend Rivar and his words and the dreams. It seems like this being he is seeing is pretty close the beings that his friend have spoke about.
Rivar was sitting on his throne following anything happening with a great deal of attention and some sort of a hidden anxiety on his face. He wanted to hide the anxiety in his soul and body as if his people knew that even their leader, namely the most powerful one, is scared and anxious about the situation. Their morale would go down faster than a coin thrown from the sky.
Rivar of course did not want something like this to happen at all. Because of his people he must put on a fake face that seemingly have no fear and confidence. It has been three to four days since the battle between this new race started. The spies already gave him some information that the numbers of them were increasing.
At first when Rivar heard the number of 200 to 250 enemy beings had been shown as a total number of fighters he was feeling a little bit fine. But after hearing that each of them have Adept-Level power some of them even have more power Adept Level Peak he took a deep breath and let out a cold breath mixed with fear and anxiety.
Of course Rivar did not know what to do about these kinds of situations in most of the cases but in the end it would be best for him to create some sort of a saving offer to the enemies.
The power of 250 Adepts is too much to handle and this is just the start. Rivar has enough experience to understand that if a race can send 250 Adept-Level Mages from the start it means that they have lots of Mage Kings that can watch the battle and every one of these Mage Kings have the same power as himself.
At that time Rivar whispered to himself.
“It should be not like this right”
Rivar whispered to himself because he was starting to understand something.
If a race can send more than 200 to 250 Adept-Level fighters and mages of themselves just after the declaration of war it means that they must have a high number of Adept Levels and even most likely Mage King Levels fighters.
Considering all of these things it is an easy thing for them to just take over the entire Monsterium. Organization and Twelve Islands with ease. If they were to send four to five Mage King they would take the entire lands within just one to two day by causing fear and mass murder all around the lands.
Rivar started laughing and then a dream manifested in his head that gave him the truth about what was happening.
A growl in the mist, a crackle of thunder, and suddenly you’re blocked by a shocking organism of smoke and ash. Two scorching eyes stare at you with a dazing violence, and another growl resonates from its ridged mouth with a tremendous heat.
Skeletal bulges adorn its massive head, which itself has a perpetual grin. A crawling maggot escapes the creature’s sinuous nostrils set within a curved nose.
Its massive head sits atop a slim, ossified body. Veiny tendrils wrap around its torso, probably remnants of an encounter with a different, terrifying being.
The creature strides toward you, its two legs steadily carry its demonic body with a poised energy.
Two narrow wings extend themselves fully. Spiky bones, and shadowy membranes stretch upward and above you. The creature comes closer and closer, its eyes never leaving yours.
A crash in the fog, a clamor of metal, and suddenly you’re challenged by a dwarfed creature of flesh and heat. Two flickering eyes stare at you with a reserved intensity, and another crash echoes from its paltry mouth with a most putrid smell.
Two enormous antlers adorn its round head, which itself is thick as leather. Thick snot escapes the creature’s deformed nostrils set within a gaunt nose.
Its round head sits atop a tall, skeletal body. Spikes cover its shoulders, but you don’t exactly want to take a closer look to inspect this further.
The creature dashes forward, its two legs firmly carry its reptilian body with a furious energy. A skeletal tail crawls behind it, scorch marks are left wherever it touches the ground.
You can feel the creature’s eyes continue to stare you down.
After the two demon dreams have ended Rivar laughed a little and then he whispered.
“They are trying to make their fighters and mages to gain experience using our people and lands as a scapegoat.”
With some intelligence and perspective , Rivar had understood that it was all about an act and plan. It is nothing more than these two things. The power of the enemy is too much. If they wanted to take over their lands and destroy them they could easily do so but they do not do something like this.
