Chapter 5 – Long Time No See

When he was still Han Mingxu, he never got up early. But when he became Li Qinghao, he wasn’t used to staying in bed after waking up. He knew it was because he got something on his mind, so he started to sleep light and had dark circles around his eyes.

He opened the closet and found no fancy clothes to wear at all. Did the original owner of this body have a taste at all? When Li Qinghao had cried in front him two years ago, he already didn’t think highly of him.

Alas…… He sighed. Had Li Qinghao’s soul been dead or gone somewhere else?

In the kitchen, Li’s mom had already prepared the breakfast. As a housewife, she was really good at cooking. He used to have grand cuisines cooked by famous chefs and now he just loved home-cook delicacy.

“Is it good?” Mrs. Li looked at her son with sparkling eyes. “You used to say that you like western food more and asked me to learn some because…you don’t like the food in the college cafeteria.”

The food in the school cafeteria was not good? Nah! It was because Nancheng Lie liked western food.

Nancheng College was a famous top university locally. It was built specifically for cultivating heirs for Nancheng family. Everything at the college including school facilities, manpower and material caring was the best of the best in the country. The cooks were national first-class. No matter Chinese or western food they cooked, it was both nutritious and tasty.

After breakfast, Li Qinghao cleaned his room because he had a hunch that he would live here for quite a long time. So for the sake of his life in the future, he should swap the entire closet including those clothes, shoes, or those colorful sheets. And as for the study room, he chose to respect the original owner of this body.

He opened the computer and logged in the website he was familiar with. He received an alarm that his account in Jinhui bank had been hacked but unsuccessfully.

Jinhui Bank was the most private bank in foreign countries and even through the whole world. It was different from the well-known UBS, but it was highly classified as well but in a different way.

You only needed to provide a real name but you could set false information for the rest in the account and defense system.

There was no shortage of money in his account but instead plus two years’ interest. But it was a fact that someone had tried to hack in. It was right after he had the incident. Who would it be? Did he want his money or his identity as Han Mingxu?

He pursed his thin but sexy lips and smiled. If that person found out that someone used the money in Han Mingxu’s account, then… There was smile in his eyes. He felt the blood of his whole body was boiling. See who the real boss of this game was!

He took a taxi to the fashion store LOVE which he often visited when he had been Han Mingxu. The owner of the shop was an internationally renowned designer who pursued inspiration. It was opened in a big city in China, but its customers came from all over the world.

The shop was very large with two floors. On the first floor, the attire with LOVE tag was not designed by the owner but other hired designers. On the second floor, every single piece was unique and only one in its kind, and each only had one size. Instead of clothes fitting you, you fit clothes. As a lover of fashion design, he gave himself in the hand of inanimate clothes because they were alive in his eyes.

“Welcome.”

Li Qinghao looked around the shop, everything had not changed… But he did.

The first floor was crowded with some random customers. He frowned because he didn’t like crowded places. The salesman spotted that he was not happy about it and explained with a smile, “Today our boss prompted a buy-one-get-one- free promotion. So we got much busier than we used to.”

He was neither too humble nor too arrogant. Li Qinghao chuckled and shook his head,” Upstairs.”

Upstairs? The salesman was a little surprised. Li Qinghao just wore ordinary sportswear, white T-shirt, black cotton trousers. He was 183 cm tall with a noble temperament, distant even in the most ordinary outfit.

“Gao, you seem to be getting slow.” He joked while walking upstairs.

Gao was a senior salesman here. He worked here for ages because the pay was good here. He used to be waited by Gao when he was still Han Mingxu, but now…

Gao felt familiar the way Li Qinghao talked to him but not with that face. As he had worked here for ages, he knew the drill,

“If you come more often, I will be smart.” Gao smiled. He knew that the man in front of him didn’t care about the prices on the second floor at all.

“Lie, does it look good on me?” A man’s cute voice came from the sofa area on the second floor. Li Qinghao was shocked, not because of the man’s soft voice but because of the name Lie he said. This shop was not only the place where he used to visit but also Nancheng Lie did too. So he was pretty sure it was his good old friend Nan Chenglie.

Although he had expected to meet Nancheng Lie, he had never expected to meet him this way.

Nancheng Lie? How would he say hello to him as what identity?

His heart was beating fast no matter how hard he tried to control. Li Qinghao was confused. Even though he was excited to see Nancheng Lie, his heart was bouncing abnormally like someone else was controlling it.

“Yes, it does.” Nancheng Lie kissed the cute man. But he felt so familiar with the strong stare from someone else behind him.

Looking back, he saw a tall man standing at the stairway. The loud customers downstairs and humble salesman standing next to him made the man outstandingly elegant and exceptional.

“Long time no see.” He smiled lightly and calmly and said hello to him like he was an old friend. Li Qinghao walked gently toward Nancheng Lie. At that moment, he forgot he was Li Qinghao who was supposed to have lost his memory and forget that he should even remember the man in front him.

He also forgot he shouldn’t have said long time no see.
