Chapter 539: Earning Another Merit

Even after the infrared sensors had been destroyed, the members of the Elite Platoon couldn’t avoid being discovered, allowing members of the Al-Qaeda to know that soldiers had snuck in. The bullets were shot in all directions like a net, causing the members of the Elite Platoon to contract their heads.

The bullets struck the wall with swooshing sounds, embedding themselves in the thick wall. The splattering of dust even covered their night-vision goggles.

Ye Jian, who had left the room, did not remain in the house for a second longer. She had exposed herself by destroying the infrared sensor system. If she still did not leave, she would be surrounded like a fish caught in a net when the surrounding Al-Qaeda members rushed over.

The bullets were endless; an explosion sounded out from her eight o’clock direction. She was about four hundred meters away, and if she did not guess wrongly, it was where Xia Jinyuan was at.

He had even used the hand grenade on him. Ye Jian, with a slightly distorted face, did not hesitate to run over to provide support.

They had mentioned before departure that they would not use their hand grenade until a critical moment, it was because it was used as a powerful weapon for a retreat. However, Captain Xia had used it! Thinking of him in danger, Ye Jian’s pupils, which seemed to have been lit by the flames of war, had turned crimson.

”Captain Xia, I’ll provide support,” Ye Jian, who was leaning on the wall, wasn’t running blindly, she was pushing forward while filled with caution.

Xia Jinyuan, who had blasted out a bloody path, was crawling on the ground. The blast was very close, and his eardrums were current buzzing. After hearing that voice, he, who had choked, said in a loud voice: “Support K7, large encirclement.”

Massive encirclement! Ye Jian sensed her heart tightening. Encirclement involving more than fifteen people was called large encirclement, so that means that more than 15 people were currently surrounding K7.

”K7 coordinates!” Ye Jian no longer headed towards her eight o’clock direction. She understood clearly who needed support, and she needed to support K7 right now.

The coordinates had not been sent over before four Al-Qaeda members had rushed over from the front. Xia Jian, who coincidentally was at the corner of the wall. She opened fire first. She had used the MP5K-PDW assault rifle she had snatched to sweep the enemy.

The MP5K-PDW had a firing rate of 900 rounds per minute, with 30 rounds per magazine. Counter-terrorism forces used this gun, but it had appeared in the hands of the Al-Qaeda members. It was no wonder why the Chinese leaders needed the Chinese soldiers to participate in this operation; they needed to capture the suspected Chinese in the base alive!

So dangerous! Even a gun that was controlled from being exported had appeared in the hands of Al-Qaeda members. Who provided the weapons? Were there any in the country? Were there any in the hands of those people hiding in the dark who posed a threat to the peace of the country?

If they captured the few suspected Chinese, they could dig out some clues.

Bullets were fired from a close distance, and the targets took a few steps back before falling to the ground due to the bullet’s explosive power. They had been finished out without making a sound by the guns they had purchased.

K7’s coordinates had been sent over; it was around eight hundred meters away from Ye Jian. Xia Jinyuan, who had broken out of the assault, said to Ye Jian: “I’m heading there to converge, support!”

”Roger! The have MP5K-PDW assault rifles in their hands. Pick up if there’s any. Don’t waste!” Ye Jian’s tone was like an old soldier who had been in battle for many years. Her actions were also not lacking, either. She had made an all-out effort to coordinate with her comrades of the Elite Platoon.

J5, G3, T6, and V8 were coordinating with each other in battle. They could cover the front and back without any support, and as for Ye Jian, Xia Jinyuan, and K7, the three of them were in their battles. They needed to converge quickly.

The sounds of gunfire and explosions shook the ground. The flames that rushed to the sky had illuminated the whole base and had exposed everyone from the darkness. Ye Jian and Xia Jinyuan had converged in two minutes. Seeing each other covered in dust, Xia Jinyuan grabbed Ye Jian’s wrist. It was so strong that he almost crushed her bones.
