Chapter 900: Countries Fall Without Defenses, People Dread Without Soldiers

Xia Jinyuan had maintained a relaxed attitude while talking to her to make her become calmer. Faced with her persistent questions, his thin lips curved in a slight angle, he smiled: “There’s no need to worry about the weapons, Hou Zi has the hobby of collecting guns, so he’ll definitely have top of the line weapons, we’ll definitely have weapons while staying in Yunnan. As to getting weapons after going overseas, we’ll have another way of getting them.

“Whether or not K7 needs to be rescued, we’ll still have to wait until 3 pm today. Although the four of us might look like a plate of scattered sand, we’ve always kept each other informed. For example, G3 didn’t contact me right now, which means that K7 hasn’t contacted him.”

If one person doesn’t initiate contact, then that means everyone couldn’t contact them. Nobody would like it for their comrades to die, neither does anyone want their comrades to worry about them, that’s why every one of them would try everything they could to contact their comrades, so their comrades could feel assured.

This type of communication was so brutally simple and straightforward. They were all followers of such a brusque rule of communication and had all developed the habit of reporting their status to their comrades at the drop of a hat, A situation where they had forgotten to do so would not appear.

“As of now, we should quickly eliminate those ‘snakes’ you lured over to Yunnan, then, you guys should hurry up and return for K7.” Ye Jian summarized everything with one sentence, that last sentence was the most important one amongst the others.

They were comrades that had sworn an oath to each other to live and die together and never give up on each other. That was their oath of life and death; those words were seared into the bottom of their hearts, words that will forever and ever be remembered.

Together with G3, then the two of them can take care of each other while returning to the battlefield…, in that case, her heart could feel more at ease.

Ye Jian glanced at the wardrobe, thinking about how she had gotten his uniform, but he actually couldn’t wear it openly because of the current situation, a sour feeling welled up in her eyes.

She turned her head, tears glimmering in the corner of her eyes, “That uniform… I’ll hold onto it for you and wait for you to come back… wear it once again, wear it openly!”

She felt sad, not the sobbing type of sadness. Instead, it was the type of sadness where she had to suppress it down her trembling, extremely concerned heart; she was sad because of his identity. Xia Jinyuan gently chuckled and using the crook of his right arm; he wrapped her into his embrace, his warm and big hand gently caressed her shoulder, “Silly fox, it’ll be over soon, everything’s going to be okay.”

“You’ll have to believe in us and believe in our country. We will never abandon ourselves, and neither will our country abandon us. Countries fall without defenses; people dread without soldiers; we are the defenses, as well as the soldiers; nobody will abandon the soldiers like us.”

His embrace was still giving her feelings of safety. A faint. Minty aroma flowed into her body bit by bit. His person, even his presence, was comforting her, allowing her to be able to calm down.

The tears in her eyes did not flow down from the corner of her eyes, and Ye Jian forced them back. She raised her head and stared at him with a determined look in her eyes: “I’ve always believed in you guys, your uniform, I’ll keep it for you, I only want to help you keep it. Because I’m the one who picked it up from the airport, I’m the one who washed it clean! So I’m the only person who can keep it.”

Her earnestness caused Xia Jinyuan’s heart to throb, he had only wanted to comfort her, but now he was thinking of adoring her.

She’s telling him that she’ll always be waiting for his return, waiting for him to personally retrieve the uniform that belonged to him from her hands. She wants to see him safe with her own eyes and not be informed of his safety through some other means.

Hugging her tightly in his embrace, with only using the strength in his right arm, he was able to hold her whole person under his wings. He genuinely conveyed the throbbing of his heart through the power of his hug, “Okay, I’ll leave it to you, to my current comrade and future girlfriend.”
