Chapter 1787 Don’t Betray That Military Uniform Of Yours

The bitter yet indifferent tone made Qin Xiu crease his forehead; whoever they’re against, he didn’t care; his only concern was the priority of saving lives.

“Get off, don’t make me repeat again.” Qin Xiu had never liked wasting his breath and disliked having to repeat himself twice and again even more, although they were a bunch of female soldiers, that was not sufficient to make him change his principles of doing things.

The man’s voice was extremely cold and was completely different to his cultured and elegant manner when talking with them usually, the seven female Art soldiers grit their teeth, bent down their waist, and came out one by one unwillingly.

Outside, snowlight was everywhere, and it was enough to illuminate their figures brilliantly, looking at the seven frightened female soldiers, Qin Xiu’s gaze swept across each and every one of them, “Now isn’t the time to throw a tantrum, I realize that all of you have some deep resentment against someone, but I believe none of you truly want to lose your life in this place.”

“Right now, only the people in our car are safe and sound, the forward truck’s situation is quite dangerous, there are your comrades, your Leadership, and the supply station soldiers who had accompanied you here up there, no matter who it was you have something against right now, as soldiers, isn’t the first thing all of you should do is to put your prejudice aside, and overcome this difficulty together?”

“Although you all are Art soldiers, but you are brave enough to choose to visit the grassroot soldiers stationed in the outpost at a time like this, it was evident you all are a group of warm-blooded female soldiers, since you all remember that you are soldiers, I trust that you must remember the responsibilities a soldier must shoulder.”

There was no scolding, no criticism, only polite reasoning, causing the expressions on the seven female soldiers to loosen up.

“You’ve said all the important reasons, if we still don’t cooperate then we have truly let these military uniforms on our bodies down.”

“As expected as someone from the News Department, you’re really eloquent!”

“No heavenly law, someone had almost gotten us killed, and in the end, we’re going to save the person that had brought us calamity.”

Qin Xiu listened to the quiet mumbles of the female soldiers, and he had only listened; he didn’t say a word else.

His gaze landed on a female soldier named Wei Jiayue; after the avalanche, he jumped off the truck and asked the female soldiers about their situation. It was Wei Jiayue who stood up and answered him.

Even though her whole body was trembling from fright at the time, she still managed to maintain a sense of calmness to converse with him. Evidently, she was someone with her own opinions and was also the boss figure in this female soldiers group.

Wei Jiayue was precisely the female soldier that spoke politely, yet her words hit the nail on the head; after receiving Qin Xiu’s gaze, she stood one step forward, “What do you want us to do? Go ahead and tell us.”

“Pickup shovels and start shoveling snow onto the truck, the more the better, and you need to pack it firmly, to increase the weight on the truck-bed. Also, two of the braver female soldiers follow me to the forward truck, your bodies are light, we need you to crawl to the forward truck and help your comrades to crawl out.”

“At this point, only the driver in the forward truck had regained consciousness, everyone else still had yet to respond.”

That was truly not good news, although they were cursing the bastard that had almost caused them to lose their life, but after truly hearing that their comrades in the forward truck were still not awake till now, their hearts started to tighten in place.

It had already been six hours since the avalanche, and they had spent nearly five hours to locate the forward truck’s location, and now another hour had passed, and no one from the forward truck had been rescued, it couldn’t be… it couldn’t really be that all of them had been hit by accident.

Nobody continued fussing about themselves coming here because of a scheme, and followed Qin Xiu’s orders and quickly started their operation, they didn’t want to lose their lives here, and since no one had arrived here to rescue them, they could only save themselves!
