When Xia Jinyuan told Ye Jian and company that Antonio’s influence was so large that not even the governmental army could stand against him, he really wasn’t lying.
After leaving the harbor, even if the trio had walked past the vehicle prepared by the Embassy, they couldn’t drive it away, the entire row of cars, no matter big or small, all had their wheels locked, and spray painted in red was “Antonio,” telling the owners of these cars frankly, that the ones who did this to their cars weren’t anybody else, it was Antonio.
“Abandon it; let’s go to the Embassy.”
When Crane saw the tire lock and red paint, he immediately made a decisive decision to go to the Embassy.
According to their agreement, there should be a comrade in the car who was prepared to get his comrades and head towards the airport together; now that there was no one in the car, and the vehicle was locked, there was no need to think too much to know that their comrade, Longhawk who was supposed to remain here had left together.
Longhawk’s departure had told the trio without a doubt that the situation was dangerous, and they had no choice but to leave.
In charge of watching their surroundings, Ye Jian noticed five people who had just passed by not long ago turn back, the beam of light that had a range of twenty meters shone directly towards them, with a quiet “Hide,” the three of them seemed to have wheels on their backs, each of them took a vehicle and slid underneath the cars.
A large majority of the cars parked on the road by the harbor belonged to tourists who were headed to visit and stay on the island, these men weren’t so meticulous in searching the bottom of the cars, and they only swept their beam of light left and right, in search of suspicious figures.
The trio hiding under the cars watched as several large legs walked past their faces; only after the footsteps had disappeared, one after the other, did they come out from their hiding spots.
When they got out, Roadrunner held something placed inside a black plastic bag.
Before they had time to open it, the trio did not stay in the harbor and took advantage of the dim, gray sky to leave without a sound.
“The Embassy had prepared well.” Roadrunner pulled out a passport from the black plastic bag and waved it: “With them, we’ll have an easier time.”
For the trio, aside from the photos on their fake passports that were on them, the entire book had been torn into shreds and dumped into the ocean, along with their assault rifles and their equipment.
Right now, for each of them, except for a pistol, GPS locator, dagger, and the clothes they were wearing, they didn’t carry anything else.
The thing that the Embassy had prepared had solved the problem of transportation for the three of them.
Public Transport card, cash, phone, passport, declaration card, these five things were more than enough to help the trio cut through half the city and head towards the airport.
The sun had risen, thin wisps of golden light penetrated through the clouds and illuminated at this city where crime and beauty coexisted, cars drove on the streets as they honked non stop while going through the narrow roads, “Honk Honk,” as they headed towards where they wanted to go.
Having changed her clothes, Ye Jian had somewhat understood the city she was in with the Convenience Store’s Clerk’s help, then, with three people’s breakfast in hand: chicken rolls and hot milk, she came out from the convenience store.
Roadrunner, Crane, was waiting for her on the roadside; one wore black short-sleeved T-shirt, the other wore a white short-sleeved T-shirt, right now in casual wear, the two of them had lost the sharp edge soldiers had, and were no different from the tourists who were coming and going on the streets, they were holding a map and tracing left and right as if they were discussing which route to take to arrive at their next destination.
“Xiao Ye’s coming out.” Roadrunner, who appeared to be focused on the map, smiled as he said, then he waved his hand at Ye Jian.
Crane, who was wearing the white T-shirt, smiled as he watched Ye Jian and lowered his voice to tell Roadrunner: “I have a good taste right, doesn’t Xiao Ye’s outfit look good?”
“Not bad.” Roadrunner nodded his head, truly beautiful, so refreshing like a girl who had gone to tread the waves in the early morning, her eyes were filled with innocence, and her smile was like a flower; she was so beautiful that anyone looking at her would feel their spirits being uplifted.
