Ravia’s warning was stern but Nick realized it was well-intentioned and he indicated that he understood. The Void Hunter Rat smiled and started talking.
“It is good that you understand. There are many being who smarter than you at the very least they should be do not understand what I mean and try to convey”
Nick’s head was full of questions at this moment. He wondered what kind of creature was capable of blocking his teleportation spell. He reckoned this information would be important for him to understand these things. He did not hesitate and asked. The creature too different from the other creatures he saw until now. He did not expected t encounter.
“Ravia, would you tell me what is that creature. It seemed different from the creatures and being I encountered until now”
Ravia smiled, he gazed at the horizon where the creature vanished and started talking.
“This creature is called the Manifestation of Fear. It is basically formed from the emotion of ‘fear’. Of course, it is not the original and complete creature but only a piece of fear that manifested in that form and has intelligence. You can say that it is not like an ordinary creature. It is a soul-type being just formed from the emotion of others”
Nick thought about this a little and started talking.
“So, if I understand correctly, it is just an emotion that took a form and has intelligence?”
Ravia smiled gently and nodded. He gave a thumbs up to Nick and continued talking.
“Yes, that is exactly right. These are strong creatures, different from the kind of life-forms you would be familiar with. Their power comes from their origin. This creature was a manifestation of ‘fear’. It can use that emotion to do things much like you do by using your magical energy. As it is a manifestation of fear itself, it has strong power and control ability. The things it can do is much more than you; it can chew you within seconds and you will not have the chance to stop it. It was just born stronger compared to you.”
Nick then asked.
“But what is the black cloud?”
Ravia shook his head and answered.
“The black cloud is just his current form. The form of these creatures is not that important. The manifestation-type creatures are capable of taking many forms, but mostly they do not like taking forms of a human or creatures such as me. They tend to choose more symbolic forms; a black cloud, for example, is pretty compatible with ‘fear’, don’t you think?”
Nick understood what Ravia was saying. Most humans and intelligent creatures or animals were scared of the dark, dark clouds especially were seen as a bad omen. It was normal for the Manifestation of Fear to choose a black cloud for its form.
As Nick was lost in his thoughts, Ravia started talking.
“I have nothing to do here and as I said, you should leave as well. There are weaker places here but there also are beings such as the Manifestation of Fear and others that would destroy you even before you could figure out what happened.”
Ravia continued his advice and shared some more words with Nick.
“I am going to implement a spell called ‘Void Dealer’ for you. You can use this spell to summon a being that sells and buys things. There is much that you can trade with this ‘dealer’. It would help you understand a lot and sell your discoveries in exchange for Ether Stones. If you want to upgrade your power quickly, you need to find a way to consume Ether Stones without side-effects and the dealer may give it to you.”
As Ravia’s words ended, he vanished with a black puff of smoke.
At the same time, Nick was looking at Ravia’s status.

Nick swallowed and then continued reading the system notification.
‘Void Hunter Rat implemented a spell for you.’

‘It summons a being that buys and sells almost anything. User can use almost anything to buy or sell.”
‘Tip: It is one of the biggest markets in the whole existence.’
On seeing this, Nick also gained knowledge in his mind on how to summon ‘Void Dealer’. He knew that his magical energy should be limitless but the problem would be if he were to use too much of it. He still would be in danger and would weaken as time passed by.
After some thinking, Nick understood that it was because of ‘Magical Regeneration’ that he was consuming limitless magical energy but it was not regenerating and hence did not power him up.
Nick needed abilities or items that could be used for regeneration. It would be good if he got himself some kind of a wand or staff as a weapon.
He first inhaled deeply and went back to his small stone island to use the spell.
“I wonder what will happen…”
Nick had been through a lot in just an hour — he encountered a creature that broke down his portal teleportation and if it were not for the Void Rat Hunter, Ravia, Nick’s life would literally be sucked out of fear.
This was a reality check for him. All this reminded him that he was still a long way off.
“I am still weak and not worthy in the eyes of strong creatures and beings. Every move I make puts my life in danger, and what do I have that is more valuable than my life…”
“I was a fool.”
Nick sighed deeply and tried to calm himself down. He needed to focus to use the spell.
“Void Dealer”
As the spell was cast, a black sphere manifested and a human male, wearing a simple black suit with long, white hair appeared.
After it looked at Nick, a notification manifested in Nick’s eyes and he started reading.

As Nick read the information, the Void Dealer started talking.
“Hello Epsilon, I am Void Dealer and I am here to help you. What do you desire?”
Nick felt slightly awkward but he started talking.
