Chapter 2371 Pale And Tender

He should go back and remind them, he had almost forgotten that only a few people in their Platoon knew about the relationship between Q King and Blue Bird.

And his reminder just now had only been unhelpful for their situation!

During this time’s mission, the Elite Platoon had deployed eleven men, G3’s team had seven, and J5’s team had four, not including Ye Jian, and now all of them were sitting in one room now, which made the whole room appear even smaller.

“Let’s talk in the meeting room; this room is too small; later, when Q King comes over, we won’t even have space to sit.” J5 tossed G3 a look; he’s going over to remind Ye Jian, while G3 would lead the others to the meeting room.

V8 still wanted to ask why they couldn’t look at Ye Jian’s neck and was towed away by T6, “Don’t even think about looking at a girl’s neck, J5 was reminding us, besides at her face, we can’t look at any part below her face! Don’t ask so much; this means being respectful!”

V8 felt like his intelligence was being insulted.

Looking at the parts under the neck, does that mean he was being disrespectful!?

T6 didn’t give him another chance to speak up; he was partners with V8; even if this guy had just farted, he would know everything about what that fart meant!

His words were rough, but reason wasn’t; that meant that they knew each other really well.

The comrades who were deployed this time, few of them weren’t too familiar with Ye Jian, and most of them only met her for the first time this morning.

Although they did introduce themselves to each other, they still weren’t too close with each other, about what’s going on between Q King and Ye Jian, it’s better to not let too many comrades know about it.

At least, not right now.

V8 was the only one who was baffled, as well as a few more who didn’t understand the situation too much.

The main thing was, everybody, didn’t know that Xia Jinyuan was in Ye Jian’s room, which was why their line of thought didn’t go there.

Outside the room, Xia Jinyuan was about to knock on the door when the door suddenly opened up.

“Too many people here; we’re going to the meeting room,” G3 spoke up; at the same time, his gaze went past Xia Jinyuan’s shoulder, landing on Ye Jian, and nodded lightly at her.

The corridoor’s light was snowy white, and standing under the illumination, Ye Jian appeared extremely beautiful, and her complexion seemed quite easy and elegant, and there was nowhere different.

Then taking a glance at her neck… G3 wondered if J5 was seeing things. What problem was there, so pale and tender, not even a scratch could be seen.

Xia Jinyuan and Ye Jian noticed G3’s gaze at the same time; one didn’t deny anything, while the other seemed to have realized something, her easy expression suddenly turned unnatural.

No wonder J5 suddenly said he wasn’t coming in; he definitely… definitely realized something!

Just now, Captain Xia had been sucking on her neck; he must’ve left a mark. J5 saw it and didn’t tell her about it to keep her from embarrassment.

Ye Jian could only feel that her face was burning very hotly.

But facing more than a dozen comrades, no matter how unnatural she felt, she must maintain her composed look.

The Border Guard Company’s office-use meeting room was slightly far away. Although the rain wasn’t too heavy outside, it was drizzling until now and didn’t seem to have any intention to stop. So the soldiers of the Border Guard invited the Elite Platoon to have a seat in the Reception Room.

The Reception Room was only as big as their barracks, without even a bed, which made it seem quite empty and expansive.

Ye Jian then met three new comrades of the Elite Platoon; one was from the Land Of Abundance; he had a self-effacing gaze, a scholarly look of the Southerners, whose code name was “Y2”.

Another came from the Loess Plateau, who embodied the rough yet calm look of the North-western men, codenamed “E6”.

And another was from Tianjin Province, an impressive person who had graduated from Hua University’s Computer Science faculty, codenamed “X.”

He didn’t have a number; he had explained it while introducing himself; X and Y had a functional relationship; since Y had a number, then he didn’t need one.

Y2 and X were both graduates of the country’s top university, Hua University’s Computer Science Program because they had hacked into a mainframe, they were put under the crosshairs of the Elite Platoon, after going through “threats and treats” for a week, they were so frightened that they didn’t even bring their graduation certificates, and reported in a hurry.

From now on, the Elite Platoon had two professionals versed in the art of electronic information warfare.
