He grinned widely; the light in his pupils was like the brightest star, as the radiance was incomparably bright.
Exiting was as difficult as entering; Harrier saw Ye Jian did another military salute, his crimson eyes lowered gently.
“Blue Bird, K7, head to the new coordinates.”
The withdrawing Ye Jain and K7 heard Xia Jinyuan’s orders, the duo left as quickly as possible.
The auction was nearing the end; the valuables auctioned off tonight had successful transactions. Therefore the route towards the underground floors weren’t as guarded as before, and exiting was easier compared to going in.
“A soldier disguised as a sailor is caged inside the metal box, both legs were broken, multiple signs of abuse on his body, unable to be rescued….” Ye Jian leaned against the icy wall after she walked out and was reporting her current situation to all of her comrades.
The grain-sized earpiece was silent; what a heavy atmosphere, even though they couldn’t see each other’s faces, they could still feel it.
“Return, Blue Bird.” Xia Jinyuan’s cool voice came over lowly, “The auction is ending soon.”
The heavy news had stabbed everyone’s heart, causing everyone’s face to be coated with a layer of killing intent.
K7 gently patted Ye Jian’s shoulders, “Return to your position.”
“Mhm.” Ye Jian raised her hand and gently wiped away the tears stranded on her left eye; raising her head, she drew in a deep breath of the underground auction house’s dirty, indoor air as she walked towards Lin Feng.
Lin Feng was already told that the four scientists weren’t located here, his hands that were placed on his knees clenched tightly, “I’ll tell Supa, and help us keep the heavy weaponry in his custody for now.”
“After leaving, we still need to go to another place.” Xia Jinyuan stared straight at the auction table, “We’ll still need them. That’s why we still need Supa’s help.”
Before, Lin Feng didn’t know that the Elite Platoon had already found out the newest coordinates but hearing that, he understood they still needed to go to another place; hearing that, he nodded his head gently and stood to the side to tell Supa about the situation.
Supa, the Pirate Leader, had been through thick and thin with Lin Feng; Lin Feng had once saved Supa’s entire family of fifty-four people; among them were Supa’s fourteen wives, twenty-seven children, as well as his parents and the parents of his wives.
After Lin Feng had saved them, he didn’t request anything from him; after going overseas, he helped Supa send four of his children to study abroad; for Supa, Lin Feng was his valued brother.
His brother had never asked him for help before, today, even though he clearly knew his brother was about to do something huge, a huge matter that was very likely to drag him down, but towards Lin Feng’s request for aid, he didn’t hesitate and chose to help them.
He knew the people he brought to the auction house weren’t simple folk, someone had left beside him, but he hadn’t noticed that until he had unconsciously taken a glance did he realize one of the four people he had brought with him had disappeared.
A group of people who had identities and backgrounds that he didn’t know about followed him from behind; if it wasn’t for Lin Feng, he really didn’t dare to bring people like them to Andican’s Auction House.
Before the auction for the last item was done, Supa, Lin Feng, and the rest had already made their way out of the auction house.
Because Supa was around, everyone had maintained the original calm look, as if nothing had happened; they concealed their depressed mood really well and were all licking at their wounds and recovering from their own moods.
In their line of work, they had already seen too many of their comrades die, they could face the deaths of their enemies with cold indifference, but it was still hard for them to get used to the death of their comrades.
