One day, Devin received an unexpected text from his long estranged sister. Then came the apocalypse.

Cards and shards fell from the sky as blue holographic screens appeared in front of everyone’s faces. It marked the age of monsters, mutated beasts, and magic-wielding superhumans while throwing the world in turmoil.

Almost a year later and after a harrowing journey, Devin was back at his childhood home. It would’ve been nice to see it still standing if his sister wasn’t still missing.

Now, all Devin wanted to do was gain enough power to take back control of his life, but unfortunately, he wasn’t a Super. At least, not yet.

It was a good thing he had a plan to change that; all Devin needed to do was steal a monster core from a pyromaniac. Despite the threat, Devin resolved himself to keep moving forward. Be it the government, military, or even the world itself to gain his independence.
