Fitch is an adventurer with a chronic inability to die.

Every time he is killed, he meets Death and is immediately sent back to Earth. Although most people would take this gift with open arms, all it means for Fitch is that he works under threat of dying eternally. Someone could sink him to the bottom of the ocean or throw him into a volcano after all.

The bastard son of a powerful noble, he works for the family killing monsters and taking out bandits that threaten their commercial empire. But when an ancient and magical creature, the Unicorn, attacks the nobility, Fitch is thrown into a brutal expedition that most will not return from.
