Chapter 1772 Witness of National Strength

The fourth helicopter didn’t complete landing and was forced to fake off, the Ground Aviation soldiers aboard made hand signals with relaxed expressions.

It was very simple communication gestures; they pointed at each other, then pointed outside, someone said, “You afraid, brothers? We’ve encountered a snowstorm.”

It would be a lie to say they weren’t afraid.

But after noticing the brothers in Ground Aviation wore easy expressions, the Special Forces Soldiers whose bodies were shaking with the helicopter suddenly felt there was nothing to be afraid of.

J5, who was onboard the same helicopter started laughing; he was currently sedated beside the Ground Aviation soldier who had just spoken, so he turned around and moved close to his ear and guffawed: “Don’t we have the brothers in Ground Aviation here? You guys are the Ground Aviation Regiment that had received First Place in the entire military’s Ground Aviation Military Training.”

“July two years ago, your Regimental Commander piloted a new model plane and did something amazing, he piloted the new model plane and patrolled the new roads between the Northwestern Plateaus, and that bold move of his had opened up numerous new flight paths.”

“Ground Aviation Brother, if you asked if we are afraid, then yes we are! How could we not be! However, with you guys here, what do we have to fear?”

It doesn’t matter how loud his voice was because the noise interference within the cabin was extremely loud, though Ye Jian, who was seated across him, couldn’t hear what J5 had said, but through the shape of his lips, she understood what he had said.

Li Jinnian, who had similarly heard his words, carried a shallow smile within his frosty pupils, while he turned his head to nod at Ye Jian. He was about to tell her what J5 had said, but the smile on the female soldier’s lips had told him she had understood too.

Seems like all the members of Elite Platoon knew how to read lips.

The Ground Aviation Soldier who had heard everything clearly was astonished, who was this guy! How did he know that so clearly!

Seeing his expression, the smile in J5’s eyes deepened.

Uncoincidentally, when the Ground Aviation Regiment’s Regimental Commander was piloting the new model plane on patrol, an Elite Platoon member responsible for establishing bases and patrols was coincidentally seated beside him; this member was none other than him, J5.

By the way, he also knew what the Regimental Commander’s next goal was and also knew what the next goal of the Ground Aviation Regiment was.

Because this goal was a half-joke between him and Q King, but a suggestion they had given with all seriousness.

That year, to protect a specific satellite base station in Xinjiang, they had assassinated the overseas spies that attempted to enter Xinjiang in search of the station; in that year’s time, their biggest lamentation was that Northwestern Xinjiang didn’t have any helicopters that could cross patrol in standalone multi-aircraft units.

Afterward, when they had hunted down a spy that had managed to obtain information of the base, that marked the first contact they had with the Regimental Commander of the Ground Aviation Regiment.

After eliminating the fleeing spy, he and Q King, along with the Ground Aviation’s Regimental Commander, started chatting about Northwestern Patrols; while chatting, they suggested to the Regimental Commander in a half-joking, half-serious manner: see if they could instate helicopters that could cross patrol in standalone multi-aircraft units.

As to why they were joking, it was because they had piloted helicopters before and knew the dangers of cross-patrolling.

As to why they were serious, it was because they really hoped the Ground Aviation Regiment could conquer the difficulties and achieve cross patrolling.

Tianshan Mountains, Gobi Desert, Plateaus, Snowy Mountains, Boundless Kunlun… if they managed to establish standalone multi-aircraft units to perform cross-patrolling, then they must fly through each and every one of these places, the Pamir Mountains, the Tibetan Plateaus, Karokaram, etc., were places where they needed to fly through.

The average altitude was 5000 meters above sea level, the patrol time required around fourteen days, their voyage would be around ten thousand kilometers, the flight duration everyday should not be lower than six hours…, with the indication of various data, the suggestion they had given was extremely hard for the Ground Aviation Regiment.
