Chapter 2469: Will Make Miss Ye Happy

The man in the suit, who was two meters away from her, came out of his hiding spot and walked directly towards Ye Jian, staring at her, “My Mistress has something to tell you, Miss Ye. The people in the bureau also hope you won’t be too troubled today, Miss Ye. If you feel angry, you can rest assured.”

“Miss Ye, you don’t want them to have a good life; my Mistress also has the same thought as you. I quote her words. Also, could you please sign this document, Miss Ye?”

There were also documents to be signed.

Ye Jian didn’t immediately take the document. Instead, she stared at the man in the suit indifferently, waiting for the other party to give her an explanation.

“It’s not some random document; it’s for the court session tomorrow. My Mistress knows that you didn’t hire a lawyer, so she has hired one for you, Miss Ye, and this document is a document accepting Sun Ying’s apology.”

Not bad, Mrs. Li had made arrangements very thoughtfully.

Ye Jian took the document, opened it, and read it quickly. In less than two minutes, she read the three-page document.

She had to say that Mrs. Li was very good at doing things. In it, it only stated that she accepted Sun Ying’s apology. There was no mention of what she did to accept the apology. This actually gave her a chance to liquidate Sun Ying in the future.

With Mrs. Li making a move, Ye Jian felt that she had no chance to make a move.

After reading it, Ye Jian signed her name.

The man in the suit who received the document confirmed the signature, and then he politely leaned forward slightly and said, “My Mistress also said, if you signed the letter, she would make you happy when the court takes place tomorrow, Miss Ye. Excuse me now, goodbye.” Having said that, he turned and left.

Ye Jian looked at the back of the man strutting away with a smile in her eyes.

Mistress…Mrs. Li, she was indeed powerful. She directly and blatantly told herself that she wanted Sun Ying to leave the court smoothly.

Oh, it seemed that she had to thank Mrs. Li for notifying her in advance.

The reason why the powerful Mrs. Li notified her in advance was probably that she was a popular cadet in the military academy.

Mrs. Li really thought that Ye Jian was a popular cadet in the military academy. That was why after answering the phone, she thought about it and arranged for Li Chuhai to send someone to look for Ye Jian.

Deputy Chief of Staff Du was being watched by the General Staff Counsel. As his wife, if she could only do all her means to reduce unnecessary troubles.

According to her previous way of handling things, why did she need to send someone to talk to a small military academy student?

Ye Jian walked out from behind the tree and returned to the side of the road to wait for the traffic lights.

Xia Yiwei, who was eating a cake, saw Ye Jian who was waiting for the traffic light to cross the road, and immediately said to Hou Zi, who was leisurely watching the business channel next to her, “Little Ye is here, why does she look like she’s not in good spirits? Hurry, go pick her up. Take my umbrella; it’s hot outside.”

After finishing speaking, she emphasized, “I don’t mean you are feeling hot; I don’t want Little Ye to feel hot under the sun.”

Hou Zi felt that it was unnecessary to say that, and he really couldn’t see how Ye Jian was not in good spirits.

It was obvious that she was doing fine. She even had a smile on her face.

But if Xia Yiwei said that she was not in good spirits, then he would check it out.

But when Ye Jian saw Hou Zi holding a girlish pink flower sun umbrella coming over to pick her,  the corners of her mouth twitched silently… She really felt like laughing.

A tall man with a strong walk that could make the fast-driving cars hit the brakes forcibly crossed the road as if he owned the road when the light was still red. It was too funny to see such a man holding a small pink umbrella.

Ye Jian squeezed her smile; it was really…too funny. A gangster boss holding a girlish sun umbrella, and a very small one too. As he crossed the road…it didn’t feel like he was holding an umbrella but carrying a big blade.
