Chapter 2495: A Hated Villain

Ye Jian couldn’t explain to them how painful Sun Ying’s life would be in the future. But she would remember her classmates’ defense, especially her high school classmates, who treated Sun Ying as their enemies and were unkind towards her.

“Didn’t people always say to forgive and forget? Ye Jian has already moved on; why are you guys making so much noise?” An opposing sentence was heard, and everyone’s eyes turned to the speaker.

It was He Jiamin who spoke.

Seeing everyone staring at her with dissatisfaction, He Jiamin felt timid. She lowered her head and said timidly, “I didn’t say anything wrong; Ye Jian is now a soldier; she can’t make trouble with Sun Ying; it will affect her reputation.”

“Anyway, I just think since Ye Jian doesn’t care about it, we don’t have to care about it.” He Jiamin finished her sentence after pulling her nails into her palms.

Ye Jian glanced at her; her eyes darkened slightly. He Jiamin trembled at her gaze and immediately showed a pleasing smile.

“Yes, Jiamin is right.” Her smile made Ye Jian raise her eyebrows slightly. She didn’t seem to notice anything, so Ye Jian sighed in relief and said, “Jiamin is right, so thank you, my old classmates, for defending me.”

She didn’t have any opinions, so the other students also put the matter at the back of their minds.

The matter was originally between Ye Jian and Sun Ying anyway. If the two had no opinion, then it would be a bit offensive if they continued to argue about the matter.

He Jiamin turned away and let out a very light breath. From the outside, she saw Tan Wei staring at her coldly. He Jiamin’s facial expression stiffened slightly, and she pulled the corner of his mouth lightly, smirking.

“Jiamin, do you really think that you can embarrass Ye Jian like this?” Tan Wei said coldly, “Don’t think that you are very smart. Ye Jian can come to this day, it’s not just because of her good academic performance, but also because she has this…….”

Tan Wei pointed to her head, nodding, and continued, “This… she’s all clear in here. You can’t even hide from me; do you still expect to hide your true intentions from Ye Jian?”

He Jiamin, who was seen through, had her lips quivered, and after a while, she pretended not to understand anything and answered with a stiff face, “I don’t understand what you are saying.”

“You don’t have to understand; you know what you’re doing in your heart.” After Tan Wei finished speaking, she gave He Jiamin the last kind warning and then turned her attention away.

Some people just wouldn’t learn until they hit a dead end. Jia Min and Sun Ying were essentially the same types of people.

It was useless to persuade her. She didn’t want to have an unnecessary enemy.

Ye Jian, who had persuaded her classmates, also used the same words to appease the villagers. Compared with the radicalism of her classmates, the villagers seemed much calmer.

The village Chief Zhang Deguo, who was addicted to smoking, rubbed a cigarette in his hand. After listening to the explanation, he put the cigarette back in his pocket and sighed dumbly, “We don’t understand anything; we’ll listen to you. We’ll follow what you want.”

“The village Chief is right, Ye girl, we know you can figure away. Anyway, Big Mouth Yu has voiced our opinions just now. We will not let Sun Ying return to the village in the future so as not to ruin the good reputation of our village.”

“Yeah, let’s do that. It’s good to settle this matter early, then you can go back to school with peace of mind. Now everyone knows you’re good. Let’s not make trouble with a family full of sinners.”

The villagers all spoke one after another; they said they would let Ye Jian decide what she wanted to do, they didn’t have any opinions. They didn’t quite understand what had happened before.
