Chapter 2524 Into the Trap

Xia Jinyuan glanced at Z7; against his teasing, he smirked and said: “Just a little, why don’t we give you a room by yourself?” Reminding Z7 to not joke about certain things in front of Blue Bird.

Firstly, Blue Bird was someone with thin skin; she’d turn hot to touch just by holding hands; secondly, after entering the city, her expression seemed to hold a very nervous gaze that was hidden well; she was worried about Chief Engineer Fu’s safety.

That’s why innocent jokes should be avoided if possible.

Z7 understood and quickly shut his mouth as well as straightening his smile.

Xia Jinyuan then ordered, “Everyone go check your rooms, then come out and gather, we’ll start planning our next stage.” While saying that, he pulled the curtains together, “Z7 will track the Chief Engineer’s whereabouts.”

Chief Engineer Fu’s body was implanted with a tracking chip that had given the Elite Platoon much convenience.

Like the rescue last time, because the engineers had tracking devices in their hands, that’s why they were promptly informed that their military engineers were kidnapped.

No wonder the military suspected a spy was amongst their ranks; their engineers were kidnapped with across such a short amount of time between both times, not even half a year had passed, so their suspicions were not baseless.

Five minutes later, everyone had finished inspecting their rooms and had walked out of their rooms at nearly the same time.

Nobody sat on the sofa in the suite living room. Instead, they sat on the carpet with crossed legs, Xia Jinyuan sat in the middle, Ye Jian sat left of him, while Z7, who was in charge of tracking the Chief Engineer’s location, sat on the right.

The implanted tracking device’s switch was controlled by the Military Satellite Control Center, after establishing perimeter electromagnetic silence, and after Z7 had quickly calibrated the satellite communications system in his hands, while he activated the National Satellite System to track the Chief Engineer’s whereabouts, he also sent out an encrypted message to the military to inform them they had arrived at the hotel safely.

Xia Jinyuan was already drawing their room’s layout, they did not turn on the air conditioning, with only the fan blowing as his cold voice vibrated in the room, “Ye Jian takes the middle room by herself, K7 and I, the room near the window, the others, take the room near the corridor. The seven of us will rotate shifts and remain alert at all times. Z7, try to get in contact with Major General first later and send the next steps of our plans back home; also, ask them where Pigeon is now; we need them to get here as soon as possible to hand out equipment.”

Pigeon’s squad were the reinforcements, and they only had one strategic transport aircraft, and those aboard, including the pilot, co-pilot, and seven special forces soldiers, it was exactly nine people.

That’s why Pigeon’s squad didn’t take the quickest shortcut, nor could they just come strutting in and take the normal way into Mogadishu.

As the entire operation’s commander, Xia Jinyuan quickly planned out the day’s arrangement based on the hotel’s location and layout that was sketched out by G3 and the others.

Once everything was set in order, with a wolf-like ferocity in his eyes, he swept a glance at Ye Jian, “The men sent by the National Security Bureau, Ye Jian and I will handle them, give us two small-caliber handguns.”

With everything fully set up, Z7 lowered his voice: “The Major General is sending us a call.”

The crowd preparing for their roles assembled once more, the laptop’s screen changed, and the Major General’s face appeared.

After Xia Jinyuan saluted, he reported: “Report, Major General! According to your orders, we have now arrived at our destination, Mogadishu!”

The Major General’s stern voice came out: “You didn’t encounter any troubles on the road, did you?”

“We did encounter some trouble, but it’s all taken care of.” Xia Jinyuan answered.

Taken care of meant they were eliminated on the spot; trouble had come knocking before they even started; after nodding his head gently, the Major General’s expression turned sterner, “According to what we have, the four abducted scientists have already arrived in Mogadishu, and are kept hidden in captivity, Z7, after locating them, start planning for their rescue immediately.’
