Chapter 2525 Emergency Situation

The Mainland had been monitoring Chief Engineer Fu’s location the entire time, there was no need for Z7 to double confirm, as the Major General informed them immediately, through the screen, the Major General’s cold and hard gaze glanced over each one of these young soldiers fighting for their countries, and he spoke to them in a calm yet trusting tone, “The personnel dispatched by the National Security Bureau had arrived, he shall be your eyes over here, rendezvous as soon as possible. Then, he shall cooperate with your plans in this rescue operation. I have given you full authority over this rescue mission, Q King! I await your good news; remember, maintain your safety at all times!”

“Everyone must return safely; no one is to be left behind!”

After the short communication with the Major General, Xia Jinyuan’s brows knit tighter, the difficulty of this mission had surpassed any single mission he had gone on, the reason why humans are afraid, are terrified, wasn’t because of people or things they already know. Instead, it was the oppressive feeling from the unknown enemy hiding in the dark. If they were slightly careless during this operation, the end result would be something unpredictable and irreparable.

Looking at his comrades, Z7 and K7 by his side, G3 as well as Blue Bird, who had occupied everything in his life, standing by the doors, Xia Jinyuan pursed his thin lips tightly together.

How could they successfully rescue the four abducted scientists, as well as ensuring everyone could return home safely?

While in thought, Z7 suddenly yelled out in surprise, “The Signal is cut off! Q King, the Chief Engineer’s Signal was cut off!” The tracking signal that represented the Chief Engineer’s tracker source had suddenly disappeared!

Xia Jinyuan, who had risen up, jolted his head downwards, he bent down and snatched the military laptop from Z7’s hands, his thin lips pressed together into a sliver as sharp as a blade’s edge as his fingers quickly pressed on the keyboard, line after line of code in the satellite system was keyed in as his fingertips passed through.

With her back suddenly tensing up, Ye Jian stared at him; her beautiful face was now covered in the sharp, cold frost.

Nothing, nothing… cut off! The Signal was cut off!

“The tracking device is implanted under the rib musculature; if it wasn’t destroyed by a gunshot, then it must be the Chief Engineer digging into his flesh and destroying it! It is very likely that he knew he was going to be checked and was doing preemptive measures.”

Z7 hypothesized, he was an expert in this field, and his hypothesis was entirely capable of serving as a reference.

Xia Jinyuan motioned to stop tracking, “That’s right, I am more inclined towards the Chief Engineer destroying it himself. At least we have locked onto his approximate location, so it wouldn’t matter much even if the tracker was destroyed.” He directed that sentence at Ye Jian; after returning the laptop to Z7, he took the handgun G3 had passed over and bellowed at Ye Jian, who had also taken a handgun: “Let’s go, outside!”

They needed to go and receive their comrade from the National Bureau of Security… a fellow citizen code-named “Mountain Eagle.”

The duo left the hotel, and the rest of the team went to their stations; G3 pulled out a bullet with its bullet head rubbed to the point of shining, his fingers gently rubbed across them.

While he had something on his mind, he liked to pull out this bullet he didn’t even know he had placed on him while thinking about something.

All members of the Elite Platoon didn’t have the habit of smoking. Even if they had in the past, they were required to lose it, as they couldn’t have any lingering smells on their bodies.

The room was filled with the sounds of guns and ammo being inspected; K7 glanced at G3, who had something on his mind, then lowered his head; he passed several foldable submachine guns he had finished inspecting to V8, none of them spoke; they stood silently as they were busy doing their jobs.

After roughly three to five minutes, G3 placed the bullet in his mouth and bit on it, doing an action that resembled smoking; he picked up the foldable submachine guns, “ka-Chak” pushing the sleeve twice, he picked up the gun, and his eyes turned cold, raising the gun, he sighted down towards the outside… he was calibrating the gun’s metal sights.
