At 1:30 pm, a group of people walked out of the office of Principal Cao. Under the repeated apologies of Yao Jing’s parents, Ye Jian and Yao Jing left the Principal’s office together.
The students had a class at 2 pm. So, they would have to return to their classes. Whereas the adults still were to continue sitting in the office.
After walking out of the office building, Yao Jing coldly glared at Ye Jian. A layer of frost now covered the face that usually carried a happy smile. “I’ve underestimated you. Compared to Ye Ying, you are much smarter.”
Never mess with someone who was smart and knew themselves… she had been careless!
“My smarts have never been used to handle my classmates. You were the one who came knocking today. I was never a tolerant person. Whoever messes with me and insults me, I will return the favor in folds!” Ye Jian wasn’t acting arrogant or overbearing, but she carried a sharp and sweeping force. Although she had said it quite casually, it had caused Yao Jing’s heart to tremble.
With a light cold snort, the proud and arrogant Yao Jing crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows. She gave a bitter smile, “You’re right, you aren’t a tolerant person, that’s why you’ve provoked Luo Ran, the little tyrant. You wait, Ye Jian, there’s no need for me to act. There are still people who would be willing to rid me of this unfortunate experience.
Luo Ran was indeed trouble, and she knew about it without Yao Jing’s reminder.
Although they left together, it is only natural that they wouldn’t walk together. Ye Jian, who had taken a shortcut back to class, noticed a couple of students were surrounding An Jiaxin, talking about who knows what.
“Ye Jian, are you okay?” A student immediately shot up from her desk after noticing Ye Jian, and gazed worriedly at her, “I hope Yao Jing’s parents didn’t make things difficult for you?”
With a month spent together, Ye Jian had managed to build up a friendship with the students in the class. Though it can’t be called a deep friendship, at the very least, when she is facing troubles, her classmates were all willing to stand forward and help her out.
The corners of her lips lifted into a pretty arc. She looked at the classmates that were concerned about her with a smile and lively eyes. “I’m fine; it was Yao Jing’s fault, after all. There was Principal Cao and Teacher Tong present as well, so nothing was alarming on my side.”
“However, I did not accept Yao Jing’s apology because this anger in my heart still hasn’t subsided. I will not forgive her so easily.”
Rather than allowing Ye Ying to distort the truth and spread rumors that she was a petty person, it would be better for her to explain herself clearly in class. That way, even if Ye Ying managed to pry out information from Yao Jing, she still won’t be able to make any cynical remarks in class.
From the confrontation today, it could be seen that Yao Jing was far more intelligent than Ye Ying. Maybe she had already seen through Ye Ying’s actual appearance; however, they were using each other.
After all, when they were in the same class, Ye Ying’s results were left for all to see!
Yao Jing’s cleverness was that she knew very well that she shouldn’t pop up after hurting someone, as if afraid that others wouldn’t say that it was all her doing. Instead, she would conceal herself, standing behind the scene and allowing her pawns to carry out her plans on their own.
She wanted to exploit Ye Ying, while Ye Ying also wanted to have a good relationship with Yao Jing. Although she didn’t want to, she was still willing to be exploited.
Ke, if the two of them partner up together to spread rumours, that’s plausible.
It wasn’t a baseless conjecture by Ye Jian. This was the experience that she had traded for with her life after discovering Ye Ying’s true self in her past life.
The students in the class were in favor of Ye Jian’s way of handling it. If they were in her place, they would also not forgive Yao Jing so easily.
Ye Ying had just asked for sick leave, stating that her chest hurts, and needed to get checked in the hospital. The whole class knew that she had ‘heart problems,’ but she didn’t usually apply for sick leave. Coincidentally, when something happened today, she asked for sick leave? Who would believe in that?
