On the way to the company, Da Zhuang drives while keeping a close eye on Zhuang Nai Nai, as though afraid she will pull something.
His vigilance however, has been misinterpreted by Zhuang Nai Nai.
She thought that Da Zhuang had seen the sight of Si Zheng Ting abandoning her. He must be laughing at her, at the moment.
Unwilling to stomach that humiliation, Zhuang Nai Nai clears her throat, “Da Zhuang-ah~”
Da Zhuang tenses up, his vigilance reaching it’s highest peak, “Yes, madam….”
Zhuang Nai Nai smiles brightly at him, “Let me tell you a joke. One day, a married couple rode an electric car to buy groceries. There was a speed bump on the road and the husband told the wife to get off the car first, to properly pass the speed bump. Can you guess what happened next?”
“No, what happened?” Da Zhuang plays along.
“Turns out, the husband drove away before the wife manage to get on the car. When he reached their home, he finally realized that he left his wife in the streets. The wife had to walk back home and made him kneel for a week! Hahahahahaha!”
Zhuang Nai Nai laughs out loud.
Huang Da Zhuang: ……………What is so funny about that?
Zhuang Nai Nai smiles as she continues speaking, “Your sir forgot me just now. How should I punish him?”
Huang Da Zhuang: ………………
Zhuang Nai Nai sneers coldly, “Let me tell you this, I will not forgive your sir easily this time. Just wait!”
