“Where am i?” These were the first words that Tim uttered the moment he woke up again.
There was a dim light around him and based on their flickering shades, it looked none other than the familiar effect of candles or something similar.
Alas, Tim did not pay further attention to his surroundings any more than he would have wanted because of the extreme pain that assailed his head.
“It hurts!” He moaned and held his face tightly with his palms. It felt like it was breaking in two and after a moment, he realized that there were bandages all over his body.
It could be seen with just a glance that he was badly injured at the moment.
Tim would have wanted to know why or how this had happened but proved the futility of such want simply because of the rushing memories that were not his to begin with.
“S***! Have I transmigrated into a cultivation world?” Tim wondered out loud and the implications behind it almost moved him to tears.
He tried biting his tongue to ascertain this truth and it has indeed told him of its indelible assurance a few breaths later.
“F*** ME! This is indeed real! What am i going to do now?” Tim muttered in pain as the sting inside his mouth could not have been truer than the present.
His name in this xianxia world was Lin Feng and he was the son of an influential character in the Lin Clan.
Alas, it was just sad that he was born without any spiritual root that made him the laughingstock of the people in the city.
It also did not add to Lin Feng’s favor that he had grown as a spoiled brat in the end which got him into countless troubles in the City of Bareview.
And in one fateful mistake, when he tried to touch a lady from one of the powerful clans, Lin Feng had paid with his life for his mistake.
“I’m f*****.” Tim whispered to himself. He knew that he could not escape his fate from here on out and it would take a miracle to escape this mess.
He waited in silence as the last memories were fully assimilated in his mind. This world was a haven of cultivators which told him enough that his earlier assumptions had been real indeed.
In this field, Tim was not totally ignorant to it because he was a fan of reading web novels and anime in his time on Earth.
This was his only refuge because he had been born an orphan in his past life.
He would have wanted to make Andrea his life, family and only goddess but it seemed that he was destined for something more today.
“Without any spiritual root, I would continue to suffer in this new world. Tsk. Tsk. Life can sometimes be funny indeed.”
Tim smiled sadly and he did not even know how he died in the first place. There was no truck-kun that ran him over and the breakup with Andrea was the last thing he remembered.
He stayed there without doing anything. Tim could not even move easily because of the fresh wounds on his body.
A few minutes passed this way until a sudden change woke him up from his depression.
“Do you want to open the newbie gift pack, host?”
