So when Wei Zhen Hui came out, there were tens of thousands of heads watching the entrance of the station.
Under the light of the temporary lamp post, Su Mian already had better eyesight than most people, she could see from a distance that Wei Zhen Hui was walking towards her.
Even though they were only apart for less than two weeks, Su Mian felt like it was two centuries.
She wanted to ask if he was tired or hungry, and whether or not he missed her.
The man wore a straight military uniform and strode towards her. “Wei…,” she only managed to say a word before she was bent over and carried on his shoulder.
When Wei Zhen Hui turned around, she could see a few soldiers watching behind them.
“Damn, the Commander just carried his wife like that!”
“Such a beautiful wife, he must carry her away immediately so that you don’t keep watching her!”
“The Commander looked like he’s in a rush, is he looking for a spot to “enlighten” her?
Wu Feng hid behind them and laughed slyly, when he was done listening to the gossip, he walked out and kicked the few busibodies, “Stop looking, go back and have dinner!”
Su Mian was so anxious, she slumped against his shoulder, not daring to move nor make a sound, why were there so many soldiers behind him!
Wei Zhen Hui was afraid that she might struggle, so he said simply, “We are going to the back of the mountain.” After speaking, he took big steps with his long legs and headed towards the back of the mountain. His legs were already long, plus the year-long training, even though he was carrying a person, it seemed like he was just walking on flat ground. He only released Su Mian when they arrived at a pavilion halfway up the mountain.
Su Mian only realized that Wei Zhen Hui’s eyes were filled with anger, “Speak, why are you here? Don’t you need to go to class?” After she called him, he had a feeling that she might come, but he thought that since she didn’t have a car, how would she get here. However, she still came at the end.
Su Mian knew that Wei Zhen Hui was angry, thinking from his perspective, she would be angry too if her wife was a high school student and came to the disaster area.
“Don’t be mad at me, I took leave from school. I will be back in two or three days. I was worried about you, I miss you,” Even though Wei Zhen Hui had put Su Mian down, he was still embracing her. Su Mian didn’t know how to tell him that she was looking for a water source for them, she subconsciously drew circles with her slender finger on his chest.
“I am a man in the military and had many missions more dangerous than this. Don’t try to convince me with an excuse that you yourself wouldn’t be convinced by,” Wei Zhen Hui held her shoulders and his gaze was cold.
Su Mian knew that he was really angry, “I found a well halfway up the mountain with drinkable water, you could get water from there,” Su Mian pointed towards the water pump, but the sky was dark so she wasn’t even sure if it was there.
“So, you came for the water source?” Wei Zhen Hui knew that she must have come for a reason.
Su Mian nodded earnestly, her big round eyes seemed to capture people’s hearts better in the night. She wanted to continue but Wei Zhen Hui lowered his head and kissed her.
“Mm…” Su Mian’s unspoken words were swallowed by another person.
His young wife was so stubborn yet so sensible, it was infuriating and endearing at the same time. He could only punish her in this manner.
It was a scandalous kiss, Wei Zhen Hui did not hold back. He put his entire weight on Su Mian’s body, he felt the person in his arms struggling initially but slowly stopped resisting.
