Solar Panel: Weaker, But Not Really
The final material was simple and had the appearance and color of silver. It looked rich, giving a natural aristocratic feel to onlookers. Epsilon smiled as he inspected the combination of his enchantments — the perfect aluminium and perfect steel — he liked what he saw.
“Now let’s enchant it so that it can be more than just a sheet of metal and achieve its true purpose.”
Speaking to himself, Epsilon touched the plate and whispered.

Epsilon whispered and the metal plate started glowing with dim orange light, symbolizing the sun. This was perhaps because it was created from the knowledge of the sun; most likely this was what Epsilon imagined when he thought about the Star Panel.

As Epsilon cast the spell, two cylindrical black objects appeared at the center of the metal plates. These are the lithium-ion batteries magically that were enhanced with Epsilon’s power. They were capable of holding more energy than what modern Earth could generate in one year even if all countries worked together.
From this, it was evident it had quite the capability to hold energy. These two black batteries, when charged up, were capable of supporting all electrical needs on Earth for over a year.
Considering that electricity was used in nearly all functions, this meant that when fully charged, this battery could power all electrical gadgets without stopping, every day.
If it was ordinary times and the use was normal, magically enhanced Lithium-Ion Black Batteries were enough to support the whole earth for more than 10-12 years.
Epsilon used his welding ability and closed some parts of the Lithium-Ion Black Batteries. He did not want these things to explode, considering the nature of the batteries and their ability to hold energy. If something bad happened and they exploded when filled with energy, the result would only be a large scale calamity.
After the battery section was closed with the use of the ‘perfect steel and aluminium’, Epsilon touched the steel plate again and whispered again.

As soon as Epsilon whispered, a black dot manifested on the right corner of the plate. As long as this black dot metal was connected to a battery at any distance, it was possible to send energy produced to any other energy device.
Simply explained, if Epsilon were to create another Lithium-Ion Black Battery and cast the enchantment of the ‘INS Energy Transportation’ on it, he would continuously be able to send energy from the Star Panel to the target Lithium-Iron Black Battery. He believed even if the target was another dimension, like the Rock Dimension that he visited and almost died in, the energy transmission would be perfect.
If an enemy cast the Dimensional Lock spell continuously to stop Epsilon’s teleportation, the transmission of energy would be cut off as well and the energy generated would be directed to the batteries on the Star Panel or anything close by. The ‘INS Energy Transportation’ used dimensional and space spells to transfer energy. This was the reason why the transmission would be cut off if someone, with the right item or enough power, used the Dimensional Lock spell closer to the Star Panel.
Epsilon took a deep breath and slowly inspected the final item.

Epsilon did not expect the item in his hand would not generate a value amount. After thinking about its description though, this device was indeed not easy to create. Due to this thought, Epsilon re-worked on the Star Panel to create a weaker version of the spell, intending to keep the original for himself.
Once he wrapped his mind around what he was dealing with, he manipulated the INS Energy Transmission and in just an hour, he made a big change. This situation was not very different from when Epsilon first created a shield spell for the Werfur race. He was not foolish enough to disband the original spell-item and enchantments. He would just present the weaker model. Considering that he still had his doubts about many things, this was the most plausible course of action.
At the end of an hour, Epsilon managed a basic version of the Star Panel, and called it ‘Solar Panel’.

Epsilon inspected the weaker form of the spell and let out a soft breath. This was good enough to appease Ravia and at the same time not so good that he invited unnecessary troubles for himself.
Still, even this basic-level Solar Panel was capable of generating a decent amount of energy.
