Chapter – 141 – alya – Project

Dear Readers. Scrapers have recently been devasting our views. At this rate, the site (creativenovels .com) might...let's just hope it doesn't come to that. If you are reading on a scraper site. Please don't.

Alya found herself thrown out of Epsilon’s property and gave out a cold breath. It was her own words that led to her present predicament but it made her feel weak. It reminded her of a past when she had to beg on the streets for basic sustenance.

The current mighty official of Blue Tear City’s Foreign Affairs department did not come from a rich family or a strong background. She did not have her father ever since she could remember, and her only family member, her mother, was always sick and could not provide for her. It was due to this that Alya had resorted to begging on Blue Tear City streets.

Most of the time, her attempts were unsuccessful and the little girl spent countless nights without any food, sleeping in the cold.

She was just learning to speak when she had started begging for the first time. At the time she turned five years old, she started helping older women in the neighborhood in their cleaning and daily chores and was given two to three coppers for it. But this was not nearly enough for the ailing mother and young daughter duo.

There were evil people in the city as well who knew about her situation and wanted to use her for other purposes but fortunately for her, she crossed paths with a young woman mage called Lila, who was attending the second year at Blue Tear City Academy, at this time.

Lila too hailed from a poor background but had managed to become a mage. Perhaps empathizing with Alya’s situation, she helped her out in improving her conditions.

As Alya was entering her teenage years, she tested her magical ability with Lila and discovered that she did possess some magical ability. After that, with Lila’s support and encouragement, she started cultivating her ability and in the next couple of decades, became a top mage in the Foreign Affairs Division of Blue Tear City.

The journey was long for Alya but standing outside Epsilon’s grounds, at her current age of 33-35 years, she realized she was nothing much after all. It took just one mysterious and powerful mage to use his mind and she was teleported out without any choice.

What was the meaning or significance of the power or the titles she was commanded? In the end, she was just like a frog in the well that did not know anything about real power and the real world.

On the other side, Epsilon calmly finished his tea, and then called out to Sparia.

“I will be working on my project now. It would be good if there was not much noise.”

Sparia nodded and went back to his Green Spiders to keep things in check. Epsilon entered his home and made his way to his office. His first task was working on the documents that the Werfur Race had given to him. He was combining this with what he understood about the biological races and their body constructs.

By now, Epsilon had a sense of what his next big project would be. He wanted to create a race of researchers for himself. At least, that was the intended goal for this project.

After understanding what he could about creatures and reading the several records, documents and information provided by the Werfur Race, Epsilon took a deep breath and thought to himself.

“For creating an individual, intelligent race with human-like abilities and more enhanced abilities for research, I need to do many things that will not be possible if not completely understood by me.”

Epsilon shook his head to clear his mind. He took some time out to sell the saved energy, taking his net Void Stones to 15M.

There were not many things or many people who could threaten him on this planet anymore. Epsilon thought a little. He then closed his eyes and manifested on an island. This place was dark and gloomy. Epsilon had come back to the dimension he had first travelled to, the rock dimension, which he named ‘Atimo’.

Once on the rock dimension, he teleported to a barren rock island. The island was not much, to begin with. Its border-to-border size would not be more than 500 meters. The small island had no creatures on it other than some sea creatures. These would leave the sea sometimes for resting but apart from these, there were no other creatures on or around the island.

The island was named ‘Flat Dark Island’ by Epsilon because much of the land there was flat without any forms of higher plains. Without any peaks or higher locations, it was the best place to build a factory or a manufacturing unit here. Epsilon’s quantum teleportation ability changed many things for him, opening up more options. If he were to set up a factory or a production facility on this barren island, he could use quantum teleportation to carry finished products to his own home.

His quantum teleportation let him teleport one tonnage of material per second. Basically, he could do anything here and then take it back to his planet. It was easy when one could teleport between dimensions, he mused to himself.

His first steps of a plan were in place. Epsilon fell into deep thought now on what he wanted to produce, and the kind of help he would need in between. Mulling over what he wanted to do first, the clear answer in his mind was to build an army. More aptly said, Epsilon wanted to build a fleet. This was not because he wanted power. He just wanted a cannon fodder army that he could either use himself in his work or sell for a profit.

And for the material of the army, he decided to use stones. He would create golems made up of stones.

“Let me begin with one stone golem.”

Epsilon prepared himself as he manipulated his magical energy to pick up stones from the ground and then built a bulky humanoid figure. After the figure was in place, he took an Ether Stone and infused it with his magical energy then started writing ‘Basic AI’, ‘Abilities’ and the control mechanism of the creature.

This should be not too hard for him to achieve. On the contrary, he believed he would be able to do it easily.
