Epsilon took a deep breath and started working on his future projects. He figured his comprehension of the Mobius Strip worked very well but he would need something additional as well. Most of the time, people would not understand that sometimes the practice of meditation alone was not sufficient. Epsilon also needed battles and fighting experience. If not, things would turn sour when he encountered a being of his level.
As he was mulling about this, he suddenly thought of the Void Market and directly summoned Void Dealer.
Epsilon was an important customer of the Void Market. They would have no problem sending a Void Dealer to him every time he wanted to see one even if it was just for a chat. This was a very simple matter for him and the Void Market.
The Void Dealer appeared and looked at Epsilon. His appearance was a little different this time. He was wearing a black suit and also had a black-rimmed glass. His hat was cowboy-like but with a classical design on it.
Epsilon took this in for a moment and then started talking.
“I need battle practice. Do you know something like that?”
Void Dealer smiled and started talking.
“I would advise you to join the Virtual Battle Arena. The company behind this is Virtual World, a company that rivals the Void Market.”
Epsilon narrowed his eyes and asked.
“Please tell me a bit more about this company.”
Void Dealer nodded and started talking.
“Virtual Battle Arena is a place that was virtually created for beings who wanted to have battle practice. People can join battles, watch battles and even bet Void Stones or Ether Stones on certain battles. There were also many places that one could drink and have fun at. It was a sub-space of the Virtual World. For joining Virtual World, you would need to personally go to their headquarters but Virtual Battle Arena can be joined with a simple Virtual Battle ID.”
Epsilon nodded and asked.
“How much is the Virtual Battle ID?”
Void Dealer shook his hand and a black card with a circle and rectangle on it appeared. He then answered.
“It is just 10,000 Ether Stones. By the way, the Void Market also has loans and a banking system. If you want at some point, you could also consider taking a loan from the Void Market and pay it back later.”
Epsilon chuckled. He expected the Void Market to have a loan and banking system in place. In the end, the most profitable thing to do was to give money to others and take it back with interest. There was no way for people or beings to not pay back as the Void Market would not settle with bad debts.
Even if one died, Void Market would take the being’s soul and sell that for a profit. It was not like Earth. Epsilon did not waste any more words and bought the Virtual Battle ID. He learned how it worked from the Void Dealer. After this, just as he appeared, the Void Dealer vanished, leaving Epsilon by himself.
Epsilon believed that Void Dealer used Void Cards for easy teleportation. After Void Dealer left, Epsilon began inspecting the card. He then took a deep breath and activated it.
“Virtual Battle ID – Activate”
As his words ended, Epsilon found that the scenery around him began to change and seconds later, he was in a pure white room. In front of him was a human woman, who looked to be 20-25 years old. She had pure black hair and green eyes and was wearing a simple blue uniform. She looked beautiful from every standard.
Seconds later, the woman started talking.
“Hi, I am Ellena, your Assistant Virtual Manager. Could you please say the words ‘Enigmatic Understanding’, and then nod at me?”
Epsilon smiled and understood that these things should be done by Laws. The things that Ellena said must be to activate conditions for them. Epsilon did not wait and said the words ‘Enigmatic Understanding’ and nodded at Ellena. As soon as he did that, a white book appeared in Ellena’s hands and she began reading it.
After reading Epsilon’s information, Ellena gulped and her brows furrowed a bit. It was very rare for her to encounter beings like these.
‘Name – Epsilon’
‘Class – Human – Law Being – Magic User’
‘Level – Cardinal’
‘Law Being – Level 1 Law Being”
Ellena took a deep breath and immediately notified her senior managers about Epsilon’s arrival. It was not that he was too strong but the fact that he was a Law Being was enough to give him importance.
Despite her appearance, Ellena was a 1200 years old woman. She was working with the Virtual Battle Arena for 500 years now. This was the first time she came across a Law Being and one has to know that every day she connected with all kinds of beings from all over the universe. The number of beings she met daily was more than 500 to 1000 individuals.
For 500 years, she did the same job but this was her first time encountering a Law Being. From only this, it could be understood just how rare Law Beings were most of the time.
Ellena then started talking.
“Mister Epsilon, we have registered you. After you open your eyes in the Virtual Arena Hub, you will know what to do as the information will be integrated into you directly. Also, we have learned from your information that you are a Law Being. Because of your existence, we need to make some arrangements. First of all, you can watch all battles without needing to pay a fee. Please have fun in the Arena and do not forget me.
Ellena smiled and winked at Elison. But she let out a sigh as soon as Epsilon vanished.
“It is too much for me to handle a Law Being. His level is not much at Cardinal, but his power, especially the Law he holds, was so much that I was about to break down without understanding anything.”
Ellena thought these things and then smiled again and again. Law Beings were the most powerful beings in the whole universe. Each one of them was classified as gods and most of the other beings were inconsequential to their power.
