Acclimatizing to the unknown was not new to Nick but in this place specifically, he felt compelled to protect himself better. Nick was convinced that even though he had fortified his passive shield, he still needed to do more to improve his overall defence.
In his mind, he was considering a defense that could better protect his existing shield, essentially giving the enemy force a double-hurdle before they could land a scratch on him.
Eventually, the most important asset was his life. If he loses that, all is lost. It was, therefore, better to prepare provisions when he had the chance to do so.
“My passive shield is sturdy enough right now but I need an aura-type spell.”
Nick created and re-created the composition of what an aura-type spell should be like. From his various analyses, he reckoned an aura-type was easy to understand — at least, that was what he thought.
Not that Nick was accustomed to creating this specific kind of spell but he understood the basic principle.
According to spiritual beliefs, an aura or human energy field was a colored emanation said to enclose a human body or any animal or object.
In some esoteric positions, the aura was described as a subtle body. Psychics and holistic medicine practitioners often claim to have the ability to see the size, color and type of vibration of an aura.
“The aura-type shield will work as a cloak, while the passive shield will be like clothes. As long as this new shield type was not broken, the enemy’s attacks will not damage my passive shield.”
Nick let out a cold breath and took in the omnipresent darkness around him. He did not think that things were any different from usual. In fact, he felt there was a calmness and peace around him. At least, in this rock island, things felt like this.
He believed that the islands with greenery and plantation had creatures such as the Stone Ancient Archers standing guard against invaders and uninvited guests. But the island that he was on, made up of rock and was largely barren, was quiet and safe.
The reason, albeit morbid, was that there was nothing this barren land had to offer to any living creatures.
“The creatures who lived in the Rock Islands, like the Stone Cow Race and the Night Eagle Race, were most likely living in the green islands earlier. But their ancestors were defeated and banished by beings like the Stone Ancient Archers or maybe others that I might not even be aware of.”
“The creatures that were banished to the rock islands would enter a period of evolution, adapting and surviving the harsh conditions. This was why the Stone Cow Race could eat and digest rocks and stones as food. Most likely, this was not their original form but they were forced to evolve so that the race could go on.”
“Who knows how many of their race members died before they developed the ability to eat stones and inhabit a place that had no signs of greenery or natural life whatsoever.”
Nick closed his eyes, sighing deeply, putting a pause to the thoughts jumbling his mind. The priority right now was to get his thinking in order and create an algorithm for the ‘Aura-Type Magic Shield Defensive Spell’.
The name was long but the ability was very important.
“I have chosen force-field for the aura-type shield. For knowledge, I already have a vague idea.”
Nick planned in his mind and started writing.

A magnetic field is a vector field that describes the magnetic influence on moving electric charges, electric currents and magnetic materials. A moving charge in a magnetic field experiences a force perpendicular to its velocity and the magnetic field. A permanent magnet’s magnetic field pulls on ferromagnetic materials such as iron and attracts or repels other magnets. In addition, a magnetic field that varies with location will exert a force on a range of non-magnetic materials by affecting the motion of their outer atomic electrons. Magnetic fields surround magnetized materials and are created by electric currents such as those used in electromagnets, and by electric fields varying in time. Since both strength and direction of a magnetic field may vary with location, it is described mathematically by a function assigning a vector to each point of space, called a vector field.

In a field model, rather than two particles attracting each other, the particles distort spacetime via their mass, and this distortion is what is perceived and measured as a ‘force’. In such a model one states that matter moves in certain ways in response to the curvature of spacetime and that there is either no gravitational force, or that gravity is a fictitious force
Gravity is distinguished from other forces by its obedience to the equivalence principle.

‘Rule 3 – User has to produce and give out ‘Magical Energy’ or corresponding energy to ‘Shield’ for the stay active.
‘Rule 4 – User has to carry, ‘a magnet’ and ‘a small symbol of ‘G’ for Gravity’.
Due to the sheer importance of this spell, Nick needed to detail the algorithm perfectly. Once this was completed, he touched the stone on the ground and put it in his pocket. The stone on the ground has magnetic qualities and was also the very object that gave him the idea of ‘Magnet’ and ‘Magnetic Force’.
