chapter 79 – Item – Fantasia –

Nick planned in his mind that he could use regular Anubites for various purposes ranging from killing enemy forces’ lackeys to building things, carrying goods or other arduous chores. He could use them like his helpers that could be summoned at any time, for any reason.

At this time, Nick noticed something on the ground. It was a wooden stick. This would have been ordinary if he was in a forest or any other place, but right now he was at a small island made up of rocks completely without any plantations.

Nick picked up the stick and was just playing with it when he gulped and thought of something.

“The ability creation or spell creation has changed completely with the use of Fantasia.”

“I should try this quickly.”

Nick thought of an idea when he picked up the wooden stick. He took a deep breath, silently thought something in his mind, and then injected imagination and his thoughts into the magical energy before pouring the magical energy into the wooden stick.

“Iron (Fe).”

“Iron Stick.”

The knowledge was ‘Fe’ and imagination was ‘Iron Stick’. Seconds after he poured his magical energy into the wooden stick, it turned into an Iron Stick.

Nick’s breathing suddenly fastened — if what he thought was true, then this meant he could give magical abilities or change or even completely create something out of nothing.

It was a given that creating something out of nothing was impossible. Nick was still using knowledge + imagination and magical energy but he put more of his mind into this thought.

Nick did not stop and closed his eyes.

‘Energy Bolt Spell.’

‘A spell that lets a user form a bolt of magical energy and shoot it towards the enemy.’

‘Rule: Every time a spell needs to be used, the user of the ‘Iron Stick’ should have 10% magical energy that the spell needed to be cast without the use of ‘Iron Stick’.’

As Nick finished the imagination of Iron Stick, it changed slightly. The tip of the iron stick changed to a little bit of a bluish shade.

Nick inspected the Iron Stick using his observation ability.

‘Magical Iron Stick’

‘Level 1’

‘Description’

‘The user of Magical Iron Stick can shoot ‘Energy Bolt’ spell with a duration time of five seconds without using any magical energy as long as the user has 10% ordinary energy bolt spell magical energy in his body that normally spells consume.’

‘Value – 5,000 Ether Stones’

‘Creator – Epsilon’

Nick laughed a little and shook his head as he smiled. He comprehended the basic nature of things without any problem but that did not mean these things were easy. Nick knew that with his ability to create magical items, he would have many things in the future that could be used against his enemies or for his allies. Though considering his character, it was most likely he would not have many of the latter.

Nick’s self-deprecating thoughts made him laugh again. He knew that he had changed significantly ever since he arrived here. He killed many humans in the name of ‘fighting enemies’ and he did this to many other creatures as well. In all, he did many ruthless things.

If he was an ordinary human, as he was on Earth, he would not be capable of doing these things.

But the point was that he was not, and that was all that mattered.

—-

At this time at an island that Nick had visited just earlier that day, some powerful creatures were busy discussing him.

The Forest Leader, a human-shaped creature made up of wood and some kind of trees, was considered handsome with his brownish and green skin.

Other than his skin, everything about him was human-like. One of the reasons why many creatures always adorned a human-shaped form could be credited to the popularity of the human statue. It was among the major highlights in the world they were living in.

Because of the statue and some folklores, the creatures thought that presenting themselves in the shape of the statue, which they believed were the ancestors of these lands, would bring them more power and potential in the future.

That was why even a normal creature would like to look like a human to feel a connection with the island’s history.

The Forest Leader listened to the report of the Forest Lady of Beast who informed him about all that happened that day. He took a deep breath and started talking.

“He must have thought that he was being set up for some kind of an ambush and he had most likely guessed that I am in the Provec Level at the very least. This was why he did not follow you now. He wanted to prepare for any situation where he could be attacked when he came here to meet us.”

The Forest Lady listened attentively and nodded. She bit her fingernails and started thinking and talking at the same time.

“He must have thought like this because he was attacked by the protectors several times. Once  before encountering us and then he was attacked in front of us as well, but we did nothing except watch.”

The Forest Leader shook his head and gave out a cool breath as he answered.

“You doing nothing was not the best idea. It would have shown our goodwill towards him if you were to help him and mitigate the threat. Then, he would be inclined to come and meet me.”

The Forest Lady nodded and answered.

“I understand, My Lord. I apologise for what I did, and I will accept my punishment.”

The Forest Leader smiled and waved his hand as an image unfolded in front of the Forest Lady.

The forest was humble, misty and primal. Its canopy was contested by rhododendron, sycamore, and fir, and abundant dancing lights bounced through their crowns for vibrant plants to claim the brittle leaves on the ground below.

Silent vines embraced a couple of trees, and a potpourri of flowers that were found in the quietest places added more life in the otherwise brown landscape.

A variety of beastly noises, which were caused by herds of larger animals, echoed in the air, completely in harmony with the splashing of fish in a nearby lake.
