Tale Of Epsilon – Chapter 197

Epsilon kept reading the book until he got something out of it. For him to read about these books means that he is starting to look at his own power increase. Considering the other things about what he is capable of or what he is not capable of it is best for himself.

Epsilon knows that he is strong but he also knows that there are a lot of beings stronger than himself.

As Epsilon kept reading about the book he felt something bad inside of himself and then one second later he got up from his seat and yelled.

“Absolute Protection Magical Energy.”

Dear Readers. Scrapers have recently been devasting our views. At this rate, the site (creativenovels .com) might...let's just hope it doesn't come to that. If you are reading on a scraper site. Please don't.

With his whisper, Thick Magical Energy enveloped his body on the top of his passive shield. The thick magical energy was blue in color and it was so thick that from outside he was completely inside of a blue sphere-box. Seconds later a big radio-like buzzing sounded out and then an explosion commenced.

“Booooooooooooooooooooom”

Epsilon was on his knees and waited for the explosion to wear out, within his mind he could sense that his home and some of his drones that he had not hidden his Panels on his roof were destroyed, not only these things the location he was in completely flattened.

From the seconds later after the explosion he deduced the power of explosion is “ten thousand times higher than strongest nuclear weapons humans had.

Epsilon felt that his magical energy was still being sucked away. The explosion was still effecting his shield. After about five to ten seconds the smoke started vanishing and the heat and power of the explosion would not harm Epsilon any further because of his passive shields.

He whispered after taking a deep breath.

“Open”

With his whisper, Absolute Protection Magical Energy had vanished and Epsilon had a great look on the surroundings.

The forest, the house of the drones that stationed all the things have vanished and the ground turned into the charcoal colored dead land.

he let out a cold breath and smiled.

“Open Mind”

Epsilon whispered and started flying. Within three to four seconds he had a look at planet orbit and everything around the planet with ease. Seconds later he had noticed who attacked the planet the place of himself.

After using Open Mind, Epsilon have noticed many things.

The gentle road that led to Graycott was barely more than a dirt path now and covered in shrubs and small bushes. Broken branches and leaves cover the roads inside the town while the tall grasses of the unkempt gardens sway in the wind. Some doors had collapsed or were perhaps destroyed by looters or animals as time passed. Either way they left a welcoming entrance for animals. Broken roof tiles lay in the streets and gardens and crusty, dry paint faded from walls and fences.Graycott, once a growing town on the rise to a better future had been forsaken and left to rot alone. Were it not for the occasional bird call the only sounds in this town was that of the wind. The sounds of market vendors, playing families and a loving community were no more. The police station once offered those in need and danger the protection they needed, but all this station can offer now is a home to animals and a shelter from the rain. On the bright side at least the cells were empty.Despite the decay of the buildings there was a certain charm about the town. Everything was greener as nature grew wild and the quiet during the day was almost peaceful. But even when all the buildings are finally taken by nature there was at least the knowledge that the animals wouldn’t have to leave and could continue their lives in peace.

The now quiet road that led to Halivaara was now indistinguishable from the surrounding landscape. Gardens once looked after and trimmed to perfection were now rough and overgrown, returning back to their chaotic natural state. Many doorways still stood tall and in some cases it was one of the few things left of a home. But most doors were completely gone and only remnants of rotten wood were left behind. A few rusted cars still stood in their driveways, though most were stripped of all their spare parts.Halivaara, once a peaceful and growing community was but a hollow shell of its former self. Silence had taken hold and would’ve been deafening were it not for the many animals that had made this place their home. Bird songs, rustling bushes and the occasional howl filled the air.The main hotel has had a few esteemed guests over the years, but it was now decrepit and starting to collapse bit by bit. A few animals still dare to wander here, but most wisely stay away from the fragile walls. The more time would pass the more the traces of those who lived here will disappear. Even now there were only remnants left, it’d be only a short while until there was nothing left. But with nothing else to lose this town had a strange sense of comfort about it. Like a world of opportunity, except there was nobody there to take it.
