Not knowing what to do in the room, Xiao Tong decided to walk around the house. She walked down the stairs and saw Aunt Su Li still busy with cooking. Xiao Tong didn’t want to disturb her. Hence, she walked to the lawn while looking around.
Xiao Tong spotted a kitten stuck on the tree. It sounds like asking for help. Without hesitation, Xiao Tong looked for Something that can increase her height as Xiao Tong couldn’t reach the kitten even though she stretched her hand. She found the stool used by the gardener. However, the stool wasn’t helpful at all. She abandoned it and searched for another one.
Xiao Tong found another stool. But, it was not in good condition. Xiao Tong had no choice as she couldn’t find anything else, “Looks stable. I hoped it would last long until I save the kitten.” Xiao Tong stepped on the tool and looked up. She stretched her arm, “Kitty, don’t be afraid. Come to me.”
The kitten was afraid of Xiao Tong. It moved away from Xiao Tong’s arm. Xiao Tong tiptoed and stretched her arm further a bit, and finally picked up the kitten.
Suddenly, the stool crumbled.
“Ahhhhhhhhh,” Xiao Tong didn’t let go of the kitten but hugged it to ensure that the kitten didn’t fall to the ground. She closed her eyes and prepared to fell to the ground. At that moment, she heard voices coming to her.
“Be careful!” shouted Yun Feng.
Yun Feng grabbed Xiao Tong’s waist, and Yun Feng quickly stabilized himself to prevent falling to the ground. Their lips accidentally brushed to each other. It was a quick touch that didn’t even last one second.
Xiao Tong was lying on Yun Feng with Yun Feng’s arm circling her waist. Yun Feng and Xiao Tong stared at each other.
Yun Feng’s ears turned red. His heartbeat was speeding. The same feeling came back again.
A second later, they heard “Meoowww….”
Sorrow sound from the kitten that sandwiched between Yun Feng and Xiao Tong.
Xiao Tong quickly got up and tried to calm herself. She checked the kitten and passed it to Yun Feng, “The kitten is fine. Give it back to you.”
“Xiao Tong, did you hurt?” Aunt Su Li coincidentally saw Xiao Tong and Yun Feng fell together from afar.
“Yun Feng, how about you? Did you hurt?” asked Aunt Su Li worriedly.
“We are fine, mother.” Yun Feng answered calmly.
Yun Feng saw that Xiao Tong was dazed. He flicked her forehead and jokingly said, “You should lose more weight. Especially the belly part. Luckily, you have lost 4kg, or else the kitten will squeeze to death.”
