After obtaining his engineering license, Luon spent the month before the start of his school researching all possible material that could be covered.
Fortunately for him, CITA and his new friend Belle were very helpful in that aspect.
What brought joy to Luon the most this period was learning many new things on a daily basis.
Luon’s ability to concentrate on the task he had to do was unbelievable, it was to the point where he was nearly blind to his surroundings.
Belle sat directly behind Luon as they were studying in one of the private rooms at the library.
She sighed as she stared at his back as he worked his brains out studying. Belle thought ‘What am I doing helping him out? Well, I do learn a few new things once in awhile but I already covered most of what I needed to know so being here is pointless.’
Belle then recalled his expression when he called her his first friend. It brought her some joy seeing him smile saying so.
‘Well helping a friend in need is indeed a good deed’ Belle nodded and thought.
But this day was their last day together she felt a little aggrieved that all they did was study.
All the sudden Luon turned off the computer and faced Belle. She felt alarmed a bit to see his actions when he turned to face her, but she immediately calmed down thinking that he was probably just hungry at this time.
“Are you too hungry to study? Today’s the last day, so you better make it worth it, let’s go get a quick meal at the cafe and get back to it.” Belle calmly said assuming he was hungry.
Luon shook his head and said, “There is no need to, I have already finished reading what I need to know so instead let’s go out together I’ll treat as thanks for your help this past month.”
Luon had spent most of his time reading up on this new era, and he even killed sleep, using energy pills he was always reading.
Hearing those words, Belle cried in joy and agreed, the last day they had together was a small, enjoyable rondevu.
…
After Luon went home from his date, he brought his parents some gifts as thanks using the money he obtained from the government for being a student.
He was a little sad to leave the two, and they felt the same. They spent their last night together in harmony with Kane retelling the stories in the past, his wife Rina pouring him drinks and Luon avidly listening to his heroic and romantic tales from dusk to dawn.
It was now the morning that Luon had to move to the school dormitory. He had spent the last day with his family with joy, but now it was time for a minor farewell.
“It was a short time, and we didn’t spend it much together but no matter what you will always be welcomed here,” Rina said as she and Kane started to hug Luon bidding him farewell.
“That’s right whenever your free come by once in awhile.” Kane after those words he pulled out a small bag and handed it to Luon.
“What’s this?” Luon looked at it questioningly.
“It’s an intraspatial bag that I used to use in my time with the military. It only has a few meters of space, but with it, you can carry a lot more things around with you. Aren’t you inspiring to be an engineer or a soldier? You can put your materials and weapons inside.” Kane said as he recalled the many times the bag had helped him before.
“Take some of these too,” Rina said as she started to pull more objects out of nowhere.
After a few minutes, Luon’s brand new bag had some random materials, potions and medicine and weaponry to the point where it was already half-filled.
The time Luon spent with them was short, but with all these things he can feel their love for him. With determination, he bid his farewells and started to leave his house to walk his path in life.
Just as Luon was about to leave his home, Kane next words made him came flying back.
“Well, I wasn’t sure if I should give this to you since I know you love books so much. This right here was a small journal I used to write about the characteristics of Inzektors biology from my time at the military.” Kane coughed and mentioned with uncertainty.
Luon quickly grabbed it and held it with passion and joy as if these words can magically appear in his mind out of nowhere.

…
Luon after departing from his house in happiness followed CITA’s instruction on how to arrive at school. It took about half the day going through many different terminals, and the distance traveled if he had to walk would have made him take several weeks to travel.
With his efforts, he arrived at Nexus University, or so he thought, but the campus was so large that after reading the map at the entrance he was still quite a bit off from his dorm room.
Fortunately for him, the transportation used at the school was the same system used in terminal station allowing him to arrive at his dorm with post-haste.
A few minutes later Luon arrived at his stationed dormitory and checked in.
There he met an old man who was the dormitory head stationed here and he taught Luon the basics of the life in the dormitory and sent Luon to his room.
Following the old man’s instructions, Luon reached his room not tired at all because of the gift his father had given him reduced his load. Inside the intraspatial bag were all their love and his first creation in this lifetime his unnamed bloody sword.
Then he thought, ‘Oh wait, I should probably name it. Maybe after doing so the name property on the BMPU would change.’
Luon recalled his sword out of the bag and named it on the spot [X-Reaver], and within his expectations, the name did indeed change in the analysis.
Luon satisfied walked to open the doors to his dorm room only to find a giant man-made tower in the middle of the room.
For some reason, there were three men stacked on top of each other with the largest one at the bottom and smallest at the top doing some dexterous task.
The largest of the three was a shirtless muscular Asian male who was emitting a significant amount of steam and sweat caused by the amount of effort used to lift the other two.
In the middle of this tower was a somewhat expressionless dark skin man. If the muscular Asian was Atlas, the titan who was able to carry the world on his shoulders than this man would be Charon, the ferryman of the underworld. Only instead of ferrying people across water, he was lifting another man, and if it wasn’t for the signs of sweat on his forehead, it was difficult to determine if he was tired or not.
At the very top was a tanned smaller individual who seems to be wiring some device on the ceiling, well to be more accurate they were screwing in a lightbulb.
What surprised Luon the most was that there was a tall ladder placed right next to them and he thought this superficial tower was entirely pointless.
After Luon had opened the door the small man at the very top was startled, and the tower began to tilt showing signs of imbalance.
Luon quickly closed the door to the room. After a few moments, he felt like a miniature earthquake had passed by.
With some doubt, Luon inspected the room number only to realize that this was indeed his new room, and those men were his roommates.
Recollecting his thoughts and emotions, he let out a sigh and reopened the door. Beyond it, there was no longer a giant tower nor a pile of collapsed men, but a scene of the three prepared for Luon as if they had expected him to come.
The muscular and expressionless man were standing guard to the side of the smallest of the three who was posing in the center on top of a chair.
“Welcome classmate, are you perchance our new dorm mate? Hehe around here you got to follow the rules and listen to this boss, Gizmo Woemoes.”
As the little man named Gizmo started to blabber about Luon took the opportunity to evaluate the design and architecture of the room.
It was a small suite with four bedrooms in each corner and a small lobby in the middle. With Luon’s understanding in the center of the room was the operation panel that rotates the necessary utilities to live like the kitchen or television set. The design and architecture of this rotation system were similar to how Japan handled car parking back in the old days. It used the parking garage elevator system to save space by using height as a factor…
“Hey, are you listening? You fool hurry up and pay attention to this boss.” Gizmos bellow woke up Luon from his analysis of the room.
“Ah sorry about that, by the way why are you the boss of the room? Aren’t we fellow new schoolmates? There shouldn’t be any hierarchy already.” Luon said after he thought about it.
The previous few days Luon had read up on the rules and regulations of the school as well as some novels about people’s first experience in school.
“Hmph, if I said I am the boss then I am the boss! Right guys?” Gizmo said as he motioned the other two in agreeing.
“Hey Gizmo, shouldn’t we hurry to the dining room? Isn’t it about time for them to start distributing food? No matter how much you call yourself boss food is my number one priority,” The large Asian man named Bendan Chen said firmly as he rubs his stomach and his nose twitched.
On the side, the expressionless black male named, Tyron shook his head and nodded in agreement.
“Hmph, can’t listen to this boss for a moment? Fine as punishment you guys can stay here as I go get myself something good” Gizmo said as he ran right out of the room to eat.
Tyron and Bendan looked at each other in shock. Then they quickly chase after Gizmo. For food, they ran at the fastest speed possible.
Luon gazed at the door that they all left it, he sighed and shook his head. Three years with these people as roommates?
‘Well it could be worse,’ Luon thought when all the sudden his stomach was also starting rumbling in the desire for food as well.
“Ah, they better leave some for me,” Luon said as he suddenly remembered that in most of the school life stories he read made by fellow students that the slowest ones would only have the scrap leftovers.
Luon quickly set his stuff on the side and madly followed suit.
After dinner Luon laid himself on his bed, he was restless unable to sleep due to his excitement of starting his first day of school.
“What am I doing to myself? I’m acting like a child too excited to go on a field trip that I can’t fall asleep.” Luon muttered as he slowly rose himself off his bed.
‘Maybe a night stroll to the library would help me sleep better. I still have quite some time before class starts’ Luon thought as he began to exercise his body in preparations for a small outing in the middle of the night.
Luon quietly left the dorm and with only CITA as his guide to light the path of the darkness of the night.
