KMega6KMegacharacter tightly gripped the great sword that Astrid7Astridcharacter gave him as he began to transform into a dragon4dragonspeciesoid. Instead of going down, he jumped up on the roof and looked down to find various wolves just jumping over the walls. He sneered, knowing that most of his men weren’t ready for battle since they were spending their pay on bodily pleasures.
The few that were ready started to quickly organize.
[You have completed the transformation into a dragonoid.
You now have an understanding of fire. ’Fire Breath’ has been unlocked!
You now have an understanding of the holy element. ’Holy Breath’ has been unlocked!
You have gained the ability to fly.
You have gained….]
KMega already knew about the list of things he would receive when he transformed since he already experimented with the ability in private. When he showed Astrid his dragonoid form, his virginity was barely spared because of the countless interruptions committed by one of the new senator’s aids before they left the fortress. His sword brightly glowed with fire as he took a pose. While the wolves ran towards him, he took in a deep breath and prepared himself.
With fire filled breath, he let out a roar.
“RAAAAAAAAAWWWWRRRRR!!!” (KMega)
[You have developed a dragon’s roar on your own. The courage of allied forces will be amplified, and the enemies courage will lessen. Multiple titles have been triggered.]
KMega didn’t pay attention to the announcement as he jumped off the inn with his great sword pointed down at the skull of a demon wolf pouncing on one of his distracted men.
[You have slain a Lvl 168 Lesser Demon Wolf]
KMega paused after seeing the level before turning around to talk to his men.
“Become a wall and protect the civilians. Don’t half ass your preparations! Remember your training! Belt, boots, then sword.” (KMega)
The officers that were present started ordering around the others as KMega ran off to hunt another wolf that was surrounding a different group of soldiers.
It was in KMega’s nature to be protective of people he cared about, especially npcs. When he first met the soldiers under his command in the beginning, he was rather cold towards them. Most of them had never been in an battle, but as he spent time with them, he looked at them less like insects and more like children. They were like children that didn’t know how to defend themselves or their families, which is why KMega started seeing them as such. As every dragon knows, there comes a time when you must let your children fly on their own. Despite your best efforts, you will surely lose a few of them. Astrid watched KMega from above as he ran from one group of soldiers in trouble to another. Even with his best efforts, he couldn’t save them all. By the time that a unified defense appeared, he had lost over thirty of the hundred soldiers that he brought with him. The wolves weren’t unscathed though, as almost all of the dozen raiders were slain, but at the cost of most of the livestock and horses.
KMega was investigating the scene before he noticed a blood trail left by a cow being dragged away.
“Are they baiting us?” (KMega)
