I refuse to let a full month pass without a chapter! Having said that, I came very, very close to doing so this time. I'll try to get it down to three weeks, next chapter.
No improvement at work. Right now I'm hanging on for the sake of the young folks who are stuck with trying to learn how to assist me in addition to their other work in order to replace the guys who were laid off.
I don't think I will do this any longer than what it takes to pass on enough knowledge to give them a fighting chance to do it without me once I leave.
So this chapter features a little snippet of what happened in Ryuu's team in Tiana's absence, to kick off what follows. And maybe a glimpse into our barely introduced character Laylin.
Plus a slight cliffhanger, because this sort of chapter needs one. No, really!
